Description: We have passed this place on the corner for several years and never got the chance to stop in. This time we got the opportunity to stop in for an afternoon appetizers and some wine. For an appetizer we had an item that is really an entre, Mussels Lemonade. Might sound like a little much but we always have a hard time passing up mussels. The description reads "Sauteed with a lot of Garlic, Oregano, White Wine and Lemon Sauce - Served over Toasted Bread" These were some of the best mussels we have ever had the pleasure of consuming. The mussels were large green mussels and were very tender and sweet. The garlic, lemon butter sauce was a scrumptious delight with the garlic and butter coating your tongue and the lemon waking up your taste buds all at once. The sauce was so good we asked for extra bread to soak it up. The waitress told us about their lasagna stating it was made with crepes instead of the traditional lasagna noodles. She stated many customers came in just for it. We decided right then and there to do a little more shopping and come back later for dinner. When we arrived the waitress greeted us like we were old friends and gave us a choice seat by the window. The lasagna came and we could not believe the size of it. So pretty with the cheese melted to a golden brown on top it was almost too pretty to eat. But we did. There are times in one's culinary life where you taste something and you instantly know it is the best you have ever had. This was one of those times. The cheese, the tomato sauce, the seasonings, the meat were as good as it gets, but the crepes were the difference maker. Light, fluffy and tender with a light egg flavor made this lasagna the best we have ever had. We took the leftovers home and had for lunch the next day. Truly a culinary extravaganza. The Atlantis Bistro has an excellent selection of wine and beer with a 2 for 1 Happy Hour every day from 4 - 6:30. Closed on Monday. Open for lunch and dinner Tuesday - Saturday and dinner on Sunday. We highly recommend the Atlantis Bistro.

Very small and quaint, the food and service is excellent. The pasta is freshly made, the crab cakes are to die for (all crab)

After walking the length of Flagler Ave to find "the best possible dinner spot," I am so happy we settled on this small corner spot. We waited about 30 minutes for a spot to open up, and the owner/proprietor was very hospitable getting us a glass of wine while we literally lingered over the hostess station and "helped out" by greeting others who also walked in to get their names on the wait list. We did land a spot on the patio eventually, and found that the service was excellent from start to finish.

Atlantis serves traditional Italian fare and fresh seafood--again, with excellent service, but very limited seating. Grab a table early if you can. We tried a grouper special, the mussels, and a delicious lasagne made with crepes instead of sheet pasta. Prices are quite reasonable (<$20) and portions are generous. Good wine list. Desserts were good--and plenty to share. We tried Brownie a la mode...a hit with the kids. Tiramisu was OK, but I prefer a lighter cake layer. Will definitely return.

Very good food and atmosphere. Quaint and small so not a lot of seats but that makes the service personal. Only issue is they seem to be open when they want and closed when they want. You get an idea to go back there only to find it is not open that day. But we still go back as everything else about it is good.

Everything about my experience at this bistro deserved a "4" rating except for my entree.

This is a very small bistro with less than ten tables and bar seating. The bread and olive oil dipping sauce is fantastic! I ordered the pasta with Bolognese Sauce. While the sauce had a generous amount of meat and clung nicely to the pasta, it had a slight "raw" or acidic taste, The two friends with me enjoyed their selections, but they ordered scallops and chicken which did not include red sauce of any type, On the way out I spied what looked like a sinfully delicious lasagna made with homemade crepes and a rack of lamb that had nine beautifully browned chops. I would go back again and choose a different menu item.
