We are Marriott lifetime members and reserved three rooms (traveling with 7 people) with a 1:00pm arrival on July 19, 2018 so that we could check in, enjoy the beach, have a place to clean up, and enjoy NSB during our one night stay. One room was ready upon our arrival, the second ready at 3:30pm. When we inquired about the third room, we were told by a very rude young lady that check in was at 4:00pm and that we would be called when it was ready. At 4:30 my husband inquired about our room. The same young lady was very rude to him and couldn’t seem to understand that we just wanted any room and that it didn’t matter where because we needed to check in and get ready for dinner and family activities. We FINALLY got a room and there was no toilet paper in it. We let the front desk know and guess what, we never got our toilet paper. So, we grabbed some off the maid cart On the floor we were staying at. Small stupidities like this can aggravate a guest. We expected in the very least hospitality and common sense to be used. The only good thing about our stay was the bartender who was wonderful and very friendly. It seems if you are Marriott member, you get screwed. I do not recommend this hotel.

Pool closed numerous times, lack of umbrellas around pool(no shade!) don’t plan to find a place on the beach to set up your own chairs ($40 a day to rent chairs from local Vendor who set up in front of hotel)and elevator down for all days of visit. Also, house keeping tried to clean room, finally got to our room at 7:00 pm but no clean towels on the cart. Interesting stay for a Marriott and more interesting response by management when brought items to their attention. Don’t expect a Marriott experience.

Located right on the beach, on the main drag. Hotel is nicely decorated, and the rooms are comfortable, especially the beds. While there is a refrigerator and coffee maker in the room, there are not enough hooks in the bathroom to handle towels and wet bathing suits (the only complaint). Breakfast has a wide assortment. Walking distance to local restaurants and shops. Great place to chill!

We recently stayed at the SpringHill Suites to celebrate our anniversary. The location is great right off Flagler Avenue, walking distance to shops and restaurants. We chose to upgrade and get a oceanfront balcony room. The room was comfortable but the a/c was a little loud. The balcony is nice but we were unable to take advantage of it in the mornings because we were on the top floor and the a/c line would drop on us while we were trying to enjoy our coffee and the view. The mini-refrigerator was not the best and did not cool well.

Breakfast in the mornings had a variety and the staff was very good at keeping things filled and ensuring that we had everything we needed. The pool area is nice and contains the only outdoor shower (constantly had ring of sand around it where all would wash off from coming off the beach). It would have been nice to have at least a hose bib to rinse off your feet when coming off the beach on the walkway.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary in June.

The good: This hotel is gorgeous and the location couldn't be better; it is right on the beach and close to the action on Flagler Ave. The breakfast was great and the breakfast service staff went above and beyond to make sure guests were happy. The bartenders were awesome and Jenny makes a great margarita! Gorgeous pool and fitness center!

What can be worked on: We stayed four nights in an ocean front room that was gorgeous and aside from our shower, which had some weird stains, everything was clean when we arrived. Our bed was made daily, but this was the only consistent housekeeping that occurred in our room for the remainder of the trip. Sometimes we had our towels refreshed. Nothing was wiped down and the floors were not cleaned. Guests staying multiple nights should receive the same attention to detail in their rooms, especially for as much as we paid. When we politely notified the staff of our concerns, we always felt like we were being blown off because they were too busy, which was a little frustrating. Lastly, my husband and I were aware of the parking fee, but many guests weren't, which really put the front desk staff in the firing line...which is so unfair to both your guests and staff. You should get rid of it or include it in the room rate - don't surprise people and leave your staff to deal with it.

We would stay here again and would recommend this hotel to others.

Room Tip: ocean view
