lovely manor and worth taking a look. inside it has been beautifully restored and it needs time to see all the hand carved furniture and the decor. there is a room where you can sample local wines and vodkas ( for a fee ) there is even a room where you can see yourself dressed up in period costumes. there is a mock up body with a a period costume and you just stand behind so only your head is in sight ( there are lots of hats also to put on ) a bit of fun. the gardens are nice and there is a hot house with tropical plants and birds in cages. a little lake is behind the manor and i think you can hire boats out to paddle round. you can get a buggy ride and we were given a display of this with expert horsemanship. across the road in the car park there is a small shop where you can get snacks/drinks etc. look on top of the chimney and see the huge stock nest.
