I always loved this place. The food is delicious, the cocktails are insane, and there is so much variety on the menu. We had Arturo as our server. He made excellent recommendations and the dining experience with him is always a real pleasure. We loved everything. Definitely try the eggplant kibbeh, Persian kale rice, truffle pide, and any of the fish! And the tea with tequila. You won’t find these flavors anywhere else. What made this experience even more memorable was the service given to us by Alex, the manager. Talk about hospitality! He made the reservation for us, seated us at a great table just where we wanted, and kept checking in on us. Thank you Alex and Arturo for a wonderful dining experience. It was so good we went twice in one trip!

The food is good and service attentive is a good exercise creatively trying to combine the delicious foods from Lebanon, Greece, Armenia, Turkey and other places...
the problem is that in their attempt they totally modify and alter the successful recipes that worked for centuries on those countries and they do not serve any traditional dishes. They use diverse ingredients to modify original receipts but in some cases they over do it, and do not take advantage of the simplicity and deliciousness of the original foods from those countries. So do not expect to see any classics in the menu and be ready for innovation and sometimes unlikely combinations that in certain ocasiona work wonderfully but in others feel a bit out of place.
A good experience overall. Not cheap and good wine list. Is worth a try if you want something absolutely different and unique in Miami Beach. The setting is nice although you may get a table in which you are forced to look at a wall while he action is behind you. Nice crowd, upstairs nicer than the ground floor.

Had the fortunate experience to fall into this restaurant located in South Beach, about 2 doors south of the Lowes Hotel complex. This is a Mediterranean restaurant that specializes in food from Lebanon. This is there small town in Lebanon of the same name, Byblos. The menu is not your typical middle eastern food with Falafel and pita, rather a vision of their chef's ability to create dishes using unique flavors and many un though of flavor profiles.

The service was superb. It was a beautiful night and we choose the patio. We started with the Marcona Almonds, sprinkled with lime and paprika. The duck kibbeh,, roasted duck, shredded and mixed with dried fig and in a date molasses and tahini sauce. That was mind blowing good.

There really was not a bad dish, as each one, about 6 of them, served tapas style, was better than the next.

The inside dinning room is very attractive and lite well.

I can not highly recommend this place enough.

Byblos has been on the Miami scene for a while. It continues to maintain the highest standard of excellent Eastern Mediterranean cuisine. Having eaten there some time ago, we were anxious to return.

Eager to taste everything, we decided that 3 starters would be enough – Spanish Octopus (tender, and flavored with preserved lemons and a special vinaigrette), Crispy Artichoke (delicious with labneh – a tangy, thick, creamy yogurt cheese), and the Lamb Rib (fantastic, with a wonderful dukkah - an Egyptian condiment consisting of a mixture of herbs, nuts and spices)

Following these delicious starters, we had our main courses.

My partner had the Lamb Rack – flavored with muhammara, a hot pepper dip, and a delicious middle eastern gremolata. It was cooked to the perfect temperature and wonderfully tender.
I had the Yogurt Baked Sea Bass topped with bread crumbs, pistachios, brown butter. The mild, tender fish was an excellent match-up for the tart-flavored yogurt. And, I imagine baking the fish in the yogurt helped keep it perfectly moist.

Our sides – Shrimp Rice, Crispy Couscous, and the Brussel Sprouts were all wonder taste sensations. Without going into lengthy descriptions, I can simply say, without a doubt, you should try them. Each one brings a different burst of flavor to your palate.

Byblos is an excellent restaurant. Service was perfection thanks to Alejandro. Under his watchful eye everything came together perfectly, even while he was engaged with several other tables. In fact, the restaurant was quite busy.

Bottom line - a wonderful, creative menu, a fine dining experience in a comfortable, informal setting. If it’s open, ask to be seated upstairs– it’s magical ambience. Always get a reservation, and it is expensive, but worth it.
