This was our first time at The Forge, but definitely not the last time. We made reservations for 6:30pm. When we arrived at 6:25pm, we were seated immediately in an almost empty dining area, which slowly and gradually filled to full capacity by 8pm. The service was impeccable, without reproach. I can't say enough positive things to convey our delight with the waiter and assistant waiters! The food was delicious, as well. For appetizers, we had the west coast oysters with a tropical mango sauce (fantastic) and the yellowfin tuna tartar (presentation and taste were extraordinary). Our entrees were the filet (done beautifully rare) and the rib eye (so big, my husband brought almost half home) and the desserts were souffles. Unfortunately, the souffles were over baked and dry. Next time we'll order a different dessert. This is a long-time established restaurant in the heart of Miami Beach that obviously prides itself on service and food quality. Looking forward to going back!
