Traditional Cuban place on Calle 8. If you want to experience a real Cuban coffee with some some pasties, this is the place to go in little Havana.

We were planning to go to the Versailles Restaurant but didn't have time given the small wait. We popped into the bakery for some empanadas and were not disappointed! Deep in the heart of Little Havana it feels like you have left the US but the people were very friendly and the food was delicious!

Versailles is a landmark restaurant in Miami. It is where the Cuban population meets for anything and everything and a must visit place for anybody that comes to the city and wants to try good Cuban food in a very famous Cuban restaurant. A few years ago, they opened a Cafeteria/Bakery next to the restaurant and the options there were fabulous. French style pastries, european and Cuban sandwiches, "pastelones", cod fritters and anything else you could imagine together with "cafe con leche" and "cortaditos"; a perfect place for a Sunday brunch or an informal lunch Lately the menu, although still good, is not that extensive anymore and the locale is not comfortable. It is OK to go and get take-out or ordering catering services, but I would not recommend it for dining in.
