This hotel is fine if you want to be close to the Dadeland Mall. The lobby has been renovated. However the rooms are in desperate need of updating. Also if you are staying for any length of time the rooms do not have refrigerators or microwaves which are pretty standard for Hampton Inns. The staff did keep my room clean. The front desk staff are not particularly helpful or observant.
I think there are better options in the Miami area. Anyone can enter the hotel and get to the rooms. No hotel keys required to access the elevators. Security should be updated as well.

Room was just OK. Area is a little questionable. Not easy access. SMALL parking lot! Didn't feel safe leaving any items in the truck. They even had a sign posted that said "Lock it or lose it!". Ok for a night, but won't stay there again.

Thank you for sharing your comments on TripAdvisor. I am sorry you had some trouble accessing our hotel. The signs posted are offered as caution to all of our guests. Miami is a big city and it comes with all the perks and problems of a big city. We prefer to be safe than sorry.

In short words it feels like home, the staff and service are amazing. Every one makes you feel special, this is my place when I travel to Miami area since I was little, and I have never regret it,near everything.

This is a pretty typical Hampton; the lobby is very nice, the breakfast was good. Some areas do show a little age though, and we felt the room could have been cleaner. The back of the sofa had a fair amount of dust on it, and the bathroom floor had hair around the walls. However, the bed was awesome! There is construction going on next door, but it wasn't really an issue since we were there over a weekend. We only heard noise for a short time on Saturday morning, and it didn't start until about 8:30. We heard nothing on Sunday.

However, I do have some good news to share with you. By this time next year our hotel will be fully renovated and all those details you mention will be gone and instead replaced with brand new furniture and fresh new feel in all of our rooms!

This hotel is great because of the location. The easy access to Dadeland Mall and other stores and restaurants. The cleaining staff were great at this hotel. The complimentary breakfast was good. The lobby staff were very friendly. I had a rental care delivered to me at the hotel, and when I checked out all I had to do is leave the keys with the lobby staff. The only thing is I wish they had a restaurant inside where you can eat.
