Dining on the 16th floor overlooking the highway and waterway running through the city - lovely! Little remenisent of Dubai although DUBAI copied! Great food and lovely service. Simple menus but excellently prepared and served.

The restaurant is located on 16th floor with a beautiful view, especially by night. Service is polite, food is ok but nothing special. Prices are a bit high, not value for money restaurant.

Located on the 16th floor of the Kimpton Epic, it is just lovely at night surrounded by the shimmering high rises of downtown Miami - so much to look at. We had a great ceviche starter and excellent fresh fish - and cocktails. Even if you go for appetizers or quick bites, the view is worth it.

Love this place! Lots of young professionals. Very nice atmosphere. The service is excellent no matter how busy it appears you’re treated like you’re the only guest in the room. Their brunch is great and their new dinner menu is so good! The tuna and pork belly melt in your mouth!

Inside seating is warm and intimate but you definitely want to grab a table outside to bask in the city views. Big thanks to the Beverage Director, Daniel Valladares and the staff at Area 31 for making sure our large group was accommodated and well catered to.

Walking into Area 31 there are awards of 4 diamonds from AAA ... Well, I'm baffled. Perhaps the AAA inspectors got drunk or high or both during their inspection. The place is average hotel restaurant, old on the edges and lost its luster, nothing special. Outside was even worse. On a sunny Saturday afternoon we stood at the quiet bar for 5 minutes minutes before anyone addressed us, including the manager in a jacket behind the bar who was clearly aware of the dirty bar area and shelves that were falling apart, but I guess didn't care. The entire terrace area was deserted, all staff was by pool - of course, working for tips. Finally we were handed menus, sat at the bar and once you started looking it was even dirtier than I first thought. Kale salad was good, mahi-mahi tacos were OK. Would NOT recommend, unless maybe if you're enjoying it by the pool, don't bother hanging around the restaurant area, it doesn't really give an appetite.
