Could someone please tell Hampton Inn to get rid of who ever is redecorating their hotels! We use to enjoy staying at Hampton Inns as they were comfortable. Now, especially with this one, it is all funky and weird. There weren’t even hand towels in the bathroom. Glad we were just there for a night. Oh, and due to “Covid”, the shuttle from the airport only runs from 9-5. REALLY???? That would have been nice to know before we booked the place. Never again!

I love our hotel too bad the Covid you cannot sit by the pool and enjoy the day. Our room is clean brand new and amazing we are sleeping in flying early in the morning and parking our car it’s perfect

Three phone charges were made to credit card that we NOT authorized (they got the credit card number off the diamond Hilton honors website, as we paid in reward points for stay) so no one gave this property ANY authorization for incidentals/ reservation stay, etc..; for a total of over $450.00 by mistake.

Questioned the front desk Asst GM Juan Bernal and said that these were final decision on disputed phone charges. Earlier in the morning asked the ?GM Luisna Fernandez? and said nothing could be done but would take 50% off (not seen) as they understood mix up but could not take disputed charges off as "...they were not having a good revenue month".

Spoke with Hilton Diamond and they agreed with us that there should not have not been any charges and mis-understanding after speaking to front desk but nothing they could do as its a franchise. Mis-understanding was due to a foreign traveler did not understand USA phone operations after asking the front desk if OK but not explained how charges are recognized. There were no calls outside US made.

Lesson is to take all on line credit card numbers off your travel profiles so folks can't use them

Juan suggestion if we didn't like it to call the credit card company and they will charge back knowing the hotel would get their revenue for services unwarrented, credit card wrties it off and WE have to take titme to dispute it to a thrid party and get new credit cards for fraud behavior.
These practices should be a fraud offense as they know what they are doing to realize monies not warranted.
ZERO ZERO ZERO compassion or emphaty for honest mistakes for a phone no less; not room charges, food, services rendered, etc... ONLY about their revenue for the month number.

DO NOT STAY HERE or OTHER hotels by these owners.BAYWOOD HOTELS (baywoodhtoels.com)

as their employees appear to be trained in these practices. the Asst GM told us to "LOOK UP" the ownership versus sharing our displeasure or trying to assist in our escallation of our dissatisfaction meanwhile probably knowing they were going to commit fraud.

DO NOT be a FRAUD victim of Hampton Miami East

Free airport shuttle picked us up rather quick! Had a really early flight ,great staff allowed us to have breakfast and then check in early! I was disappointed it was not in a location where you can walk to anything but the hotel shuttle took us to the metro mover which we took to Bayside marketplace for a fun afternoon! Arrived back around dinner time and found several food trucks set up in the parking lot. which was very convenient The ones with burgers was excellent! We then did a little late night swimming . The pool was clean and loved being able to use it late.Our rooms were clean and what you would expect, bed was comfortable air worked well.This was not a high end hotel but it checked all the boxes for its class and was priced right. Free breakfast buffet in the morning was good, plenty of choices, well tended, We were staying pre-cruise and took the hotel's inexpensive shuttle to port. I nust say everyone we encountered at this hotel from the desk to maintanance was freindly and attentive which just put the icing on the cake. We will use this location again!

So we were staying here, as we had an early morning (530) flight. I asked ahead of time if they had a shuttle and if it was running that early, they said they would get me to the airport. Upon checking in, they said the shuttle only starts at 6 AM, but we can get a taxi over there. The lack of communication was unacceptable. Oh yeah, and WAAAAY overpriced.
