We stayed two wonderful nights and used Entente Cordiale as our base to explore Gros Morne and then to head North to Labrador and St. Anthony. Staff were very helpful and friendly and accommodated our early morning departure by providing us access to the kitchen to make our breakfast .

Firstly, the owner Paul and the women who work here are extremely welcoming, warm and sincere. They were helpful and would check in with us to ensure everything was okay. Liz who served us for breakfast in the morning was always energetic and happy, and Paul, the owner, was prompt with replies and answering all my questions when we were booking. We were a group of 4, staying in Suite 6, which was perfect for us. It had a common area with a small table, mini-fridge and TV, decorated with antique furniture and offered a very cozy feel. However, the highlight of this Suite was the back patio, where it had 4 chairs to view the ocean. We spent as much time on this patio as we could when we had down time, and was the perfect spot to watch the sun dip behind the water during the sunset. The B & B is just north of Gros Morne and is an easy drive around we used it as a central location to explore along the Viking Trail and took day trips north (Hawkes Bay, Port-Aux-Choix) and south (Arches Provincial Park, Cow Head, Lobster Cove). There is also a short trail in Daniel's Harbour that leads to Portland Creek Pond, as well as a coastal walk at Table Point, just north of Bellburns.
Staying the three nights was very relaxing because after a day of sight-seeing, we would come back home to this gem, without repacking and unpacking every day. The dining area has big windows, so you can enjoy the view during your meals, and breakfasts were delicious and there is the option to have dinner there, which were also excellent. A wonderful place to stay!!!

We stayed 4 wonderful nights.
Perfect location.
Perfect rooms ( with ensuite)
Perfect meals (breakfast & supper)
Perfect staff.
Perfect sunsets.
Perfect b&b.

We used this central location to take Day trips north and south along the West Coast without having to change accommodations every night. Also it helped to choose our activities according to the weather.

Beginning with a great welcome, shown to our room which is appointed with lovely antique furniture and similarly charming decor throughout, very clean, good beds, gorgeous view of the ocean. The dinner service is well worth the price (although dessert is extra...but worth it!) and the breakfast choices were all wonderful. Can't say enough about how lovely the staff are, how nice the place is, and what a treat it was to find this Inn. A great stop en route up or down the 430.

Room Tip: Ask for an ocean view. Also, if in season, ask if there is lobster on the dinner menu.

We booked this based on on-line reviews...and the fact that they had a restaurant on site in a place where there were few restaurants close by. It sits all by itself at the end of the road, so its gravel beach is yours alone. The hotel's interior is spotless, the rooms very nicely done - quaint comfy and - again- spotless. Note: If you are planning on diding there you need to give them notice, as they need to shop for the food. Everything is fresh and the dining room is only for guests. WE didn't get that word and so they hadn't prepared for us. No matter! They whipped up some soup, and bread for us and we went up to our comfy room quite satisfied. Breakfast was a delight. Service was excellent. The dining room fronts the ocean so the views are beautiful. We had NO complaints, especially as they went out of their way for us. Even got hugs when we left. VERY nice. Don't forget: Let them know in advance if you are doing dinner with them!

Room Tip: They're all good, but two(?) have ocean views. Their website will tell you which one.
