This is a newer property. And we enjoyed our stay very much. I am a Platinum Member and stay at many IHG Properties. This one was excellent. I was greeted at check-in by a lovely lady "Shakurwah Ahmad". She was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was large, well lit, many outlets, comfortable bed and very clean. The bathroom was larger than typical HIE and well lit. I would definitely stay here again if in the area. I actually regret failing to book two nights at this property rather than only one.

Additional note: Outside look for the many lizards next to the canal. I enjoyed snapping some pics while outside walking around the property.

As soon as you walk in the building, you smell cigarette smoke. It is a non smoking building, but it smells like an old casino. Rooms are not quiet. You can hear your neighbors. The breakfast room was small. The pancake machine was not working and neither was the juice machine. On my second day, the air conditioner was not working in the breakfast room along with the juice machine.
So, my family sneezed the entire two days while staying there and the choice of food for breakfast was limited. If you are allergic to dogs, we are not it was the smoke and mildew, don’t stay here. Dogs are great, but the stains on the floor look like no one cleans up after them.
The front desk staff was great.

Was this a GREAT RESORT??? ABSOLUTELY NOT! However, for those that enjoy the Florida Keys, you know that all you need is a safe, clean hotel, that has all the basic requirements, but SLIGHTLY above taking a chance in some of those motels that you see along the Highway.......
Fair breakfast, rolled up omelettes, sausages, cereals, fruits, toasts, bagels, coffee..... regular stuff, served from 6-10AM. Room is cleaned daily, they have a pool and some water leading to the Ocean, out back.
All-in-all, I would stay there again. On US 1, yet hurricane windows keeps the noise out. In the Middle Keys, so you can be in Key West or Islamorada in less than an hour.
Then there is a restaurant/bar on the property that has locals go to,,, so it must be good. We had other places to see, so we didn't go there

Well... the door on room 310 is still jammed due to the staff not having the ability to replace screws in the hinges.... The pool isn’t huge and the people in the pool area were smoking and had their own food in there despite the signs.

However, room 310 was clean when we arrived (not cleaned after night 1 though) and the beds were super comfy. No fridge in the room is a bit naff but generally really nice room.

Staff very nice and helpful and breakfast was good.

If you stay is worth the trip down the road to Havana Jacks which is a mile away but a great place for a beer

We stayed in room 310 from July 19th through the 21st and truthfully I was glad it was only two nights. We could not move rooms because the hotel was booked in full. We also paid in full so it wasn't like we could get our money back. The IHG Brand is a go to for us for just about all of our travels. When we go to our room our door was jammed. We did eventutally get in. The hotel room was not clean. The beds were very saggy. Our door did not dead bolt. And there was a ton of mold in the shower. It was a very disappointing stay.
