Services was slow. Server said there was no calamari but some did appear in the chiccharon de Jilea (shrimp, squid, fried fish pieces over yuca). The shrimp were tiny, the fried seafood was okay but no salsa or cocktail sauce of any kind was offered. The white bean side was tasty. Being about 500 feet from our hotel was the only highlight.

My wife & I stopped by for lunch ~ 1:15p, there were only two other patrons during our stay. The proprietor explained Peruvian food to us and we settled on two slightly different seafood/rice plates. The Wife had a paella (#11) which was orange/yellow in color, mine (#12) was brown and spicy. We both had Chilcano, a Peruvian spritzer that tasted like a sweet soda (5.5 ABV). The food was outstanding, very flavorful without being overwhelming. The plates were too big for one person, so either plan to share or take home a doggy bag.

We've been coming to Key West for years and although Incas opened in 2012, somehow we have missed it, probably because of its off-off Duval location. But it was worth the walk. The place is small and the service is prompt and friendly. As expected, there are a lot of seafood dishes ranging from standard (fried shrimp) to authentic Peruvian cuisine. The drink menu is limited to beer and wine but make sure that you try the sangria. Oh and the non-alcoholic ceviche "cocktail" is another gem.

Incas reminds me a lot of the old Colombian Grace (now Bliss) but with a little of El Sibouney homestyle ambiance thrown in for good measure. And the prices are reasonable, at least for Key West.

An out of the way place. Very friendly owner large portions of excellent food for low prices for Key West. Had the mixed fried seafood plate and Peruvian Paella. Both great and try the Sangria
