We went for our Twenty-Fifth Wedding anniversary and stayed in room 18. It's in the main original house on the first floor facing Caroline St. It has a semi private porch that is accessible and viewable to street. Room 1 is next door after the foyer and the beautiful staircase to second floor. These are the prime rooms although any room will be nice given the amenities and service. James our manager upon our visit and a true help and delightful man.
If you're in to history, great lodging and great food, this will be a remember able trip. PS- a museum there has the doll that inspired "Chucky". Take his picture if you dare.....DON'T do it!!More
