Went out with Michelle and Mike first week of June 2017 with 3 kids (ages 5-9). Both Michelle and Mike were incredibly kid friendly and my boys had a great experience. Even caught fish off their dock while Mike was cleaning catch. It was nice leaving from a private residence/dock instead of the busy marinas and we enjoyed the boat ride through the mangroves. Would highly recommend to any family.

An excellent way to experience high quality fishing while making a lifetime memories with you family or friends.
The crow is 100% professional and they will lead to those monsters from the deep.
Highly recommended and worth every penny!

My son and I fished with Capt. Michelle and her husband on a 4 hour charter. We caught lots of large yellowtail snappers, a large black grouper and a cero. They were great hosts, always having bait ready as well as food and refreshments.

They filleted the catch and gave us ice and a cooler for the fish. They gave us a couple of snappers to take to a nearby restaurant while they finished cleaning the remaining catch. Bobalu (the restaurant) fried them up and they were delicious. I highly recommend Spear It! Couldn't be nicer people.

If you're searching for a fishing charter in the Key West area, look no further than Spear-It Charters! My wife & I (we booked a half-day trip on April 25) were treated to a fabulous experience with Cpt. Michelle & Mike, who will exceed your expectations and perhaps even restore your confidence in what a successful day on the water should be like! Before, during and after our fishing trip we received courteous & prompt updates regarding weather forecasts, sea conditions, proper fishing techniques, and of course we caught LOTS of fish (and they cleaned and packed them on ice)! They were very patient & accommodating in every way!

AThe boat can take 1-6 guests and their dock is located "in the back yard" on a private canal in Geiger Key, about a 15 min drive North of the Key West Airport. Looking forward to trying "spear fishing" on our next trip!

Capt. Michelle and Mike took my sisters and me out for a dramatic sunset farewell to celebrate the lives of our parents, who wanted their ashes at sea in the Keys, where they lived and dad was a commercial lobsterman. It was a cold, overcast, windy day with choppy seas, but that didn't lessen the beauty of the day. I thought it was probably Dad testing whether we still had our "sea legs". We left coconut messages and a trail of flowers, toasted with Jimmy Buffet and a Cuba Libre in their honor, and celebrated them as the sun broke through the dark clouds and sent rays of light shining down to the sea. It was truly a majestic moment. Thank you, Michelle and Mike for helping us create such a special celebration of Mom and Dad. XO -- Shawn P.
