Description: Cooking up a storm in the kitchen is what inspired the opening of Hurricane Cafe by chef and owner Scott Phillip. Serving the hungry and thirsty patrons of Juno Beach, FL for over 15 years, Hurricane Cafe provides a relaxing atmosphere where the food does all of the talking. Try the award winning Breakfast or Lunch Menu but don't forget about the outstanding dinner menu. Hurricane Cafe uses only the freshest ingredients prepared from scratch daily. With a passion for quality, cooking, and service, Chef Philip and his friendly and knowledgeable staff set the standard for American cuisine offering local beer and wine pairings for every meal. Open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, patrons can enjoy their favorite American cuisine with a twist. Love eggs Benedict for breakfast? Try it with the restaurant's savory Crab Cake. Take a break from the beach and pop in for lunch for the Blackened Dolphin Sandwich, Grouper Rachel or one of the many amazing Salads. There's no wonder Hurricane Café received Trip Advisors 'Certificate of Excellence' 2012 to 2016, Zagat Rated "Excellent 2004-2015" and voted "Best Breakfast 2010" and "Best Lunch Spot 2006." Stop by for the restaurant's sunset menu from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. for tasty entrees like Shrimp Scampi, Fish & Chips, or Sautéed Shrimp with Sweet Coconut Sauce. Great menu and nice atmosphere. Really cool pictures on the walk. Great location. Parking can be a bit challenging but worth it. Has a great menu. And very unique menu items. Great for lunch. Will not be disappointed!

We volunteer at the Loggerhead Marine Life Center, and management give us a discount. This is not the reason we meet for lunch though. The food is always good, and the staff friendly. The eggplant Parmesan is very hard to beat even at the finest restaurants. Good salads, sandwiches, I haven't tried the desserts.
Worth a visit.

Get there by 10 or you will wait. They take reservations. Not as loud as other spots in the area, but our guest said that if you have hearing aids, there is too much noise to discern an individual conversation. The granola French Toast was a big hit. The blueberry pancakes and the pecan pancakes were good but not to write home about. The short stack is so huge no one could finish it. One member of our party liked the lobster quiche. They use artificial maple syrup but will sell you small bottles of the real stuff. Generous with coffee refills. Limited selection of herbal teas. Some outside seating. Very popular with the snowbirds.

We ate at the Hurricane 3 times. The first two times were for an early dinner. Excellent... good selections, attentive service, and a very pleasant experience. Be forewarned... if you are under 70 you could be the youngest person there by a number of years. But the attentive and understanding of the staff is wonderful. I can certainly see why seniors find the location great. Good food and easy accessibility with parking close made for a dream location for seniors. But a look 10 years into the future can be a bit disturbing...
Our third visit was for late breakfast / early lunch on a Saturday. For us it was a mistake. The wait will be substantial. Since we were scheduled to take flights home we decided to sit at the counter. Wonderful idea but for us it was a nightmare. For the entire hour plus we were seated and eating there was a constant waiting line of people in the narrow hallway directly behind you. For us the problem was the loudness of the people waiting. Having 15-20 people greeting each other and talking over each other was not pleasant. People would even bump into you and carry on as if they had not nearly knocked you off your stool.
Please do go to the Hurricane Cafe. You will be impressed with the food and service. BUT if offered a seat at the counter... politely decline.

Thanks for the great review! I am sorry about your last visit, the coffee bar on the weekends can be a little busy but you can get seated fairly quickly. We also have counter seating in the main dining room that would have been a better choice next time. We really appreciate the feedback. As far as our more 'experienced diners', we have an sunset menu and it is very popular. So from 4 to 6 pm, you will see that the Hurricane is #1 with them. Breakfast on weekends are mostly families and lunch is mostly professionals.

I go out to eat breakfast quite frequently. I have never had an omelette prepared as well as Chef Tim Carpenter does at the Hurricane Cafe and I visit the best breakfast joints in NJ!! The eggs are the lightest, fluffiest I have ever experienced. The Hurricane cafe is a very busy place, however got there for a late 10:30 breakfast and had no problem having a table set for 6. The service is top notch and I anxiously await going back to visit my friends in Jupiter and having the best breakfast experience ever!

Thanks for the awesome review Bob, sorry we don't have NJ pork roll on the menu! My first job was an egg cook 40 years ago, so we put a lot of attention to doing eggs right. We appreciated the great feedback and hope to see you in South Florida again soon. Stay warm up there.
