Juno's is a restaurant specializing in Japanese dishes. It's on Eglin Parkway, across from Fort Walton Square and next to Buffalo Wings. Juno's is well worth a visit. The menu is very extensive and the staff is outstanding. We were welcomed like old friends. The menu includes donburi, sushi, and so forth. There are several appetizers of which we had three and each was excellent. My wife, two adult sons and my daughter in law had Oyaku donburi and it was excellent. I had the shrimp tempura which consisted of five gigantic shrimp, rice, and a salad and it was excellent. It was our second visit to Juno's and both times food and service was great. The waitress even brought out two persimmons she had grown in her backyard and peeled them for our enjoyment~!! Drinks include saki, and several Japanese beers along with the usual American beer. I highly recommend Juno's. You'll enjoy the food, the service, and the experience.

Had dinner after hearing good things from friends. "Spicy" Volcano roll was everything but spicy. Lacked any real flavor. Miso soup was really good. Shrimp Tempura dinner was decent, but again, nothing to write home about. Asked server why there was no music. She thought I was joking. Very flat atmosphere. Lots of work needed here to compete with other sushi sources in this town.

Service was great and thats where the praise ends. Ordered the Tempura and was extremelt greasy and too much breading. Ordered the Korean Ribs and meat was not marinated long enough to retain any flavor. The fried rice and salad was not satisfying either. Oh another positive. The warm saki was recieved warmly with no complaints. The Sushi chef seemed to be entertaining the customers but I can't speak to the quality of the sushi as we didn't eat it. Did have a decent presentation though.

I've only been here for lunch and usually get their bento boxes... which come with meat, rice, usually two pieces of sushi, two small egg rolls and soup for under $10. Their chicken, pork, and beef bulgogis are all very good- especially the spicy. My daughter always enjoys their chicken or shrimp teriyaki boxes. And my coworkers love the tempura boxes. The staff is friendly and efficient. My order is always taken and served (and paid for) with several minutes to spare in a one hour lunch break. Their sushi is also very good- and you don't have to wait forever for their sushi chef to roll yours out!
