I'm giving this a 3 star rating only because bathrooms were beautiful and clean. Other than that it did not have a lot to offer for families. Also some shady people staying there. Area surrounding also not so great.

I'm so sorry you didn't get to use the facilities that are for children as well as adults, such as the swimming pool, the catch & release lake, the 3-hole golf course around the second lake, basketball, tennis, horseshoes, shuffleboard. The beach is 15 minutes away. With 452 sites in our Resort, there are always varied and diverse guests. We try to provide all of our guests with a pleasant experience.

We stayed at this resort for three nights (12/23 - 12/26) while visiting family in Florida. The site we had F5 had a very large cement/brick drive and patio area with a large brick fireplace (see photos). This is a very large park with a lot of "snowbirds" and people living here year round. Very clean facilities, and pet friendly. It was the most expensive park we've stayed at but worth it. The only negative comment was that our site had a "SHARED" picnic table & fireplace with the next site (so you are looking at each other). We weren't told we would have a site that shared, but in this case it wasn't a problem because the people in the shared site didn't arrive until Christmas day and we were at relatives that day and leaving the next. I did call the office as I felt for the price ($88.20/night) we should have been informed ahead of time.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Our nightly rate is $52.20 + 6.01 tax for a total of $58.21, not $88.20/night. Maybe you misread the "5" to be an "8". I hope you will be able to visit us again, and if you do just let the front desk clerk know that you would prefer a fireplace of your own.

We were a group of three RVs, 2 class A and 1 Road-trek. We booked last minute and were happy to be able to get sites close to each other. The checkin went smooth and the sites (although somewhat tight) were very nice. Sites are concrete paved. We got a pull through with a built in stone fireplace. The people staying at the park seemed friendly. The bath/showers were very clean. We saw the pool area, but the days we stayed were too cold to swim. We are definitely going to return since we are only about an hour north. Nice park!

So happy we were able to make your stay enjoyable. Since you're so close, all of our sites are 20% off from May 1 to October 1. We look forward to seeing you again!

Beautiful place to rest and have a good time with your family. We rented a cabin for 6 people and we had everything we needed. The kitchen includes even silverware and pots. We have plenty of towels and the place is very nice.
They have a basketball court, fishing lake, heated pool, etc. You feel like you went to the countryside. I will go back again. The beach is probably 10 minutes or less.

If you want to "camp" this is not the place for you. Did not realize that most of this camping resort was permanent residence. We were backed up against the maintenance building, with tractors, garbage trucks and carts coming and going. There is not quiet. While it has great amenities, it is not like camping at all. Really had no way to know this ahead of time. Just be aware, if you want a "camping" experience, this is not the place.

I'm so sorry you were disappointed in your stay. A lot of folks like this section of the park because it's a little more secluded. We have 452 sites in our Resort, so there are a lot of people here. Quiet time, however, is between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Otherwise, the campers here are very friendly and very busy with all of our activities. I hope you'll visit us again, and you might want to make reservations earlier in the year as we fill up very quickly. We've had a waiting list since April of 2017.
