Tuesday 5pm the rooftop sky lounge was standing room only.
Had a few of their specialty cocktails. Vulcanized Mary was fantastic, as was the Harvey's Fog horn.

We to 2nd level for dinner. Sam took great care of us for our dinner.
Hawaiian flatbread was amazing, as was the crab cakes.
Grouper, Ahi Tuna and the 5 cheese Tortellini were all excellent.
Sam suggested Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc which complemented to meal perfectly. Lava cake was good, but Banana bread pudding was very bland!

The place was packed, so we sat at the bar. Look up and watch the tires circulating around the ceiling, along a conveyor belt - fun! The bartender makes good drinks and the atmosphere was fun. The portions were a nice size - not too big, just right.

Visited the Firestone Grill for dinner with some very good friends from our old home town. Had a great time, great service from Sam-our fabulous waiter-and great food. We were a bit early for our reservations so we enjoyed a cocktail in the bar area from a very attentive and comical bar tender. We were escorted to our booth in a very timely manner and had some perfect appetizers. The crab cakes were good and the calamari was excellent. Our guests ordered a beautifully prepared Strip steak with some wonderful potatoes and asparagus and his wife enjoyed the grouper. Both proclaimed them excellent and ate nearly every bite. My husband had the lamb lollipops which arrived a little beyond his preference . To Firestones credit shortly after the meals were delivered Sam- the waiter came over to ask us if the meal was to our liking. He promptly removed my husbands lamb, insuring first that he left him something to nibble on and within 10 minutes he brought my husband a fresh, properly prepared dish. I ordered the Scampi and I was not happy with it, however it was beautifully prepared and I suspect that many would enjoy it. It just didn't appeal to my palate-so nothing was said though I had every opportunity to speak out. To me, a bit of a foodie, not every dish appeals to every guest. It's not the fault of the chef-it's personal taste. During the course of the meal-to our surprise, the executive chef came to the table to apologize for the lamb and ask if everything else was ok. When we came to the end of the meal the manager came over and insisted that he serve us dessert with his compliments. Totally unnecessary..but we took notice that the restaurant was clearly unaccustomed to having any guest leave unhappy. They strive for excellence and despite a hiccup or two they satisfied our expectations and then some. We'd go back in a heartbeat!! Very enjoyable!

Took my sife and sister in law for drinks in the Sky Bar and then dinner downstairs. The cocktails are great, view is great, but watch the wind....it can blow over a glass easily.....holdem down!! The Calamari was the most tender I have had.....the main courses were good.........we ran into a line when the Sky Bar opened at 4......hard to get a seat just then, but better later as the crowd drifts out.

Eight of us had reservations for dinner. We tried to have drinks beforehand at the Sky Bar; however, it was too crowded. Too bad as the view was terrific. Several people had the grilled Caesar salad, which got mixed reviews, and others ordered the chopped salad. One person ordered the paella, which was wonderful. Two ordered the tuna, which was also great. One ordered a chicken dish which was very good. Two ordered the steak tips, which were okay. I ordered the strip steak -- medium rare, which came with 3 small, twice baked potatoes and asparagus, which was wonderful. The last person ordered the rib eye -- medium rare; however, it was cooked pretty well. The waitress never asked us to cut into our steaks to check the doneness. He had to point it out to her and sent it back. He got his meal a few minutes later. He was never offered any type of compensation for the delay, which would have made good business sense. Tip was automatically put on bill.
