Kumo in Fort Myers is my go to for any lunch meetings or just to go grab a quick bite to eat. They have some of the freshest sushi in town, and I highly recommend the spicy tuna! The hibachi grills are great to take your kids to for entertainment and a great meal. Overall from the staff to the food and the atmosphere it's well worth stopping in and giving it a try.

We were in the mood for good sushi experience. We are not fans of cream cheese in our "special" rolls and they were willing to accommodate. Waitress tried to offer suggestions. However, the 4 rolls we ordered were not generous with the fish, fish didn't look appealing, one roll used tempura shrimp which, clearly, had not been prepared recently...chilled and stiff coating, and flavorless shrimp. The dining room is in the same large open room with the bar which had a loud business going on. There are several TV's in the dining room as well as the sushi bar which had several patrons. The second room had quite a few Hibachi tables which were full and also loud as could be heard from the front dining room (flashing flames, loud clangs and the smell of food cooking). We were disappointed with the choices of the special rolls, the quality of fish, as well as the qualify of the one bar drink (cosmopolitan) made with artificial "mix" rather than fresh juice. Space is windowless and dark, room does not have sound-dampening or privacy measures, in place. Nothing special. We won't be back.

Horrible. I read the reviews and should not have gone! They served our last roll (spider roll) way after the rest and it tasted days old. Not fresh tasting at all! And if the wait was not long enough, and the food not tasting fresh, it was ALL RICE as well on that spider. When I told the server, she could and should have cared. She could not care less.
Complete waste of money. Real sushi is so much better!

First time to this restaurant. Very busy for a Wednesday evening. Atmosphere less than desirable and very cold appearance. Expected it to be noisy but acoustic are poor increasing noise level. Waitress less than attentive. Once food delivered never she never returned to table except to leave the check. Food was average. Having said that something in my tempura shrimp made my violently ill both with stomach cramps and blurred vision. I have been eating out at various restaurants for over 60 years, am not allergic to any thing and I have never had this reaction to a meal. Too many decent places to eat to risk a return to this place!
