Whether doing their happy hour (mid week) or dining, food is varied and dekicious. Nice presentations, variety and excellent service. Love their crab cakes and scallops. Kobe beef quite good. Orange layer cake to die for. Chocolate layer cake a fix for a chocoholic.

Had nice time with friends. Great atmosphere and the music was awesome. Just had drinks and it was a busy Tuesday night. Great place for cocktails and to relax

Great food--music is nice; however, should be easy listening music until 8:00 pm. Gets a little crowded during season

We've been waiting for company (that wanted to take us out for dinner) to go to the Roadhouse Cafe. I called and was pleased we got a reservation. I'm afraid I set my expectations a little high on this place. My wife and I both expected a little more posh with outstanding service. We were seated in a back room and fairly promptly offered cocktails which we ordered. Drinks were delivered quickly and then we ordered. This seemed a little rushed but we ordered and enjoyed our cocktails. Our group of four ordered a wide variety of items. Myself I ordered two appetizers. One was scallops wrapped in bacon and mussels marinara. The mussels we excellent but the scallops were way over cooked and dried out. My wife had to lobster bisque and chicken parm. The bisque was very good but the chicken was a little overdone. Our guests had steak and seafood entrees and they said both were "fine". We share a desert passed around and felt a little rushed by the staff so we departed. Overall it was OK but not the quality the price would indicate. There are too many choices in our home town of Fort Myers to spend our money (or our friends money).

Looks can be deceiving !! It is in a strip mall.....but that is where the boring ends.
Walk through the doors, into the dimly lit area, and be greeted at the door immediately. The music is playing soft jazz to your right...and people are actually on the dance floor enjoying themselves. Reservations are a 'must'.
The Bar area is to the left.....but it is one large room.....everyone can see the band and hear the wonderful music.
The food is superb!! Everything from the lobster bisque, white chocolate truffle scallops(perfectly cooked) to the filet mignon and cowboy cut ribeye. Desserts are amazing, as well.
I have eaten there several times.....and the lamb, seafood, and pasta dishes have NEVER been anything but seasoned well, and tasty!!
The wine list is very well stocked as well.
Service is superbe...whether you would like to milk a long social evening, or eat and dash. The wait staff is friendly and will work with you.
This is not a family style restaurant.....but like is southern FL style--you see everyone dressed to the '9's in formal wear, to people in khaki's and polo shirts and jeans.
Prepare to enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of the Roadhouse.
