At La Bonne Crepe Restaurant, you will start with your eyes, before you've even entered the restaurant, from the beautiful promenade that is Las Olas maybe you've just ducked in for a bit of the cool and soothing atmosphere of lunch in a Paris cafe where you step out of time and into the heart of Paris for a cool drink or a lovely cafe au lait, or maybe you've stepped off the street busy with happy pedestrians, window shoppers and party goers, for a fine dinner inside or outside on the lovely flower bedecked, wrought iron railed patio, either way, you have stepped over the ocean and you've landed in the City of Lights. Oh so French and lovely! Pink or white table linens, flowers and candles at every table, parisian style art work, rare to South Florida impeccable service and a warm welcome greet you, the scents abound, from the rich and tasty guilty pleasures of a seafood crepe in a traditional bechamel sauce that will almost make you weep! Many and varied crepes and traditional French and international food that is simply fantastic, one of my favorite dishes Trout Bretonne with Shrimp Mushroom Capers in a Shallot Sauce. Simply divine cold starters and perfect light lunch and oh so delicious, the Pate Du Chef with a side of couscous, or try the Blue Point Oysters on the half shell! or the Smoked Salmon served with toast points, capers, and onions and of course a Soup of the Day, Soupe A L'oignon Gratinée, a classic and rich Onion Soup, or try the Cold Vichyssoise! Just the tip of the varied fresh ingredients and dishes you will find. I had the luxury of working across the street and enjoyed such lunches there all very reasonable, not to mention a favorite spot for taking clients to, cocktails, wine, beer and soft drinks offered as well. An elegant welcome to an out of town guest, a favorite of my Grandparents for the exquisite Sunday brunch and a truly special dress-up dinner date. Anytime, always enjoyable, great service and exquisite food. I love La Bonne Crepe!
