The fis & chips platter is huge. We always split it. Fun to watch the river traffic. Fun place for a group to go. The bridge noise is a bit much, but all part of the local scene.

MAnagement has checked out and you know when the sound system for a place that promotes live music is so bad that everyone is talking about it you have to wonder who's watching the kitchen and the things you cant see...I will never go back.I was there yesterday for annual st patricks celebration and they had live music...One band had their own sound as was OK...At least the sound quality was good...In between they had a guy playing guitar and the speakers (at least near front near bar were so bad that people were leaving beacause they could not stand how bad it was...The place was crowded and people were coming and going because of the huge St Patricks celebration but it is bo surprise why this place is empty any other night of the week. (walked by once before)....The speaker was broken and I wnated to stick a knife in my ear tit was so frickin bad...DON NOT GO HERE -Ever..
I've eaten at their other location and to be fair the food was decent for Bar food and would go back for quick bite but when you want to have fun a few drinks and listen to some music this IS NOT THE PLACE. I do'nt know if I can be more clear...Hundreds of people left because of the music and they could have paid for 10 new sound systems with the $$$ that they lost...I can only assume the management has checked out and ownership does not care...

Ate lunch here while waiting for a riverfront cruise. Great location, watched the boats and people going by. Good service and price comparable. Salads very good, as was the fish and chips and Shepards Pie.

The Briny Pub is right off the river with nice patio seating and a typical bar interior. It would be an excellent location for patio seating except it's near the Andrew St bridge and all the bridge noise.

The food is fine, nothing wrong, nothing special. My Mahi Mahi sandwich was nicely spiced but the fish itself was fairly bland, maybe previously frozen. The fries, cole slaw and pickle were fairly standard.

My wife's crab sandwich was good but luke warm. The limited wine list had basic mass produced wines at reasonable prices. The beer list was a little more extensive.

Our opinion is that it's not worth a special trip to eat here, but it's fine if you're in the area.

There is also a Briny Pub on 2nd Avenue that appears to be closed, so not sure if the two are related. This restaurant is the ONLY thing left at Riverwalk (GHOST TOWN!) and it is at the very end. Nice view of the water. Outside was very busy but the inside seemed empty. The bar outside is not real big, maybe 12 seats, and the back drop is the stage where apparently they have entertaining. A rather odd set up. The bartender, Tanya, was pleasant. My boyfriend ordered the chicken tenders which were OK, and I ordered the mahi which was also just OK. Came with rice, which I told them to hold, and potato puree which I also told them to hold, but they did not. The vegetable medley was all carrots and a few pieces of broccoli florets. Wished I asked about that cause I don't do carrots. This place appears to be for locals because if you didn't know it was there you would never go that far to find it. Might go back if in the area for a concert again, but would order something different.
