If you like historical houses, don't miss this. It's not very big, but it's very well kept and interesting.

“Beautiful old historic home.”
Reviewed 17 March 2012

My wife and I attended a charitable fund raising event here around the Christmas holiday season. The decorations were absolutely outstanding. The view from the back of the house, of the fort Lauderdale waterways, were just beautiful. How we managed to not come here after moving to South Florida 23 years ago was our loss.

“History on the intracoastal.”
Reviewed 1 March 2012

This is another must see while in the Fort Lauderdale area. This is one of the oldest houses in Fort Lauderdale with a lot of history. I have been to Ft Lauderdale several times and never knew about this. Now I tell everyone who is planning to visit Sout Florida to make sure they visit the Stranahan and Bonnett houses.

“Dont go out of your way”
Reviewed 12 February 2012

The house is a historical landmark right off Las Olas and the New River. Tours are offered though out the day. We had Lil. She was a hoot. It was interesting but wouldnt go back and do it again, but glad I can say I did it because im a local. My parents were in town and I wanted something different to do with them. If your a senior($11) or student ($7) you get a discount, otherwise tickets are $12.50 I believe...
