Came for our first visit last night and throughly enjoyed our evening. It started when we walked in, and they seemed happy to see us!
Water was served before we had settled, and I waitress showed up shortly thereafter. She was attentive and helpful without being intrusive throughout our entire dinner.
Bread was served immediately and it was excellent. We tried one of the half dill pickles from the jar on the table (we were told this was a Bob's tradition) and it was nice. My wife had the lobster bisque which she enjoyed. I opted for the Chophouse Salad which was good.
We decided to share the chateaubriand: tenderloin filet over asparagus served with a glazed carrot....I opted for a baked potato and my wife chose the smashed potatoes. Our dinner was delicious and the portions were huge...in fact, we boxed up enough for another full dinner tonight.
After dinner we decided to try two wedges of their carrot cake. Our server advised us that their wedge of carrot cake was huge too and we might be better off sharing a piece. We took her advice and ended up only eating half of that piece....so, carrot cake for tonight . The served a complimentary glass of champagne which might wife chose to have with dessert.
Along with my wife's glass of wine before dinner our total bill before tip came to just over a$100....well worth it and we have another full dinner tonight!!!
