Loved this lovely cafe. Staff were superb and we had a wonderful time with fabulous seafood at their BarBQ on Wednesday night. So sorry for the staff when a party of eight were a no show. Disgraceful that they did not cancel their reservation. The management did not deserve the loss of revenue caused by this group of eight!

We got lucky when we were passing on our travels on Wild Atlantic Way & managed to get a table. Had a short wait but it was worth it. A good sign also to see somewhere so busy & clearly a very popular spot!
Delicious lunch! Cakes looked very tempting too!!
Fabulous view also!

Lovely location and a good spot to refuel for lunch. Tables a bit packed and we sat for a while before we were asked for an order. Guy on the till was very helpful with local directions and knowledge

Have dropped in for coffee several times and to look at the Affordable art, but had lunch the other day and the seafood special was truly divine: hot smoked mackerel with a well dressed salad. It gets very busy and service hit and miss. Get there early for that picture window seat - not the seat by the waiter serving entrance where the chair gets knocked when they walk past!
Delicious food, but don't be in any rush.

We had breakfast here this morning (on a Sat). We were informed that there might be a delay. What we didn't expect was a delay of 45 mins for two portions of children's pancakes and an adult portion of scrambled egg, bacon and toast (bacon never came). It is hard to keep children occupied for 45 mins whilst they wait for their food - if we had had any idea that the wait was going to be so long, then we certainly wouldn't have ordered.
When the food arrived, it was absolutely delicious, but it was our view that the kitchen (it is very small) cannot cope with 35/40 covers at the same time (they seemed to be running out of everything - tea pots, tea spoons etc) - maybe it would be better to stop taking orders around the 20 cover mark, instead of making customers wait such a long time (especially those with children). Had we been without the children, then we really wouldn't have minded as the sun was shining and the view is outstanding.
Maybe we could have been offered a free cup of tea/coffee to make the wait more bearable, or an orange juice for the children.
