It seems this establishment has been refurbished and cleaner and more inviting than before. It appears they have new tables as well. It is a buffet- so you either like these or stay away. They have offerings on a menu, but I've never seen anyone choose the menu items. Lot's of pizza offerings with a wide range of topping. Personally, I think their plain cheese pizza is quite delicious with very thin and crispy crust. They have a very ordinary salad bar with a small array of toppings, but everything appears fresh and tended to. They also offer tasty soups including Minestrone, Minestrone with Beef and Chicken Noodle Soup. One wait staff person for lunch hour when my husband and I went, and she was very efficient- Constantly picking up plates and delivering new ones and always with a smile. Most patrons go multiple times to get pizza, soup and to the soda machine. One price for buffet, but beverage is extra. They also have dessert pizza's included on their buffet. Beer is available. If you want filling food and lots of it, try Hungry Howie's when you are truly hungry!

It's hard to mess up pizza. Howie's wasn't the best I've ever had, but far from the worst! Would definitely eat there again.

This was a choice while in the area for a sporting event. The prices were very reasonable (but 10 year olds are considered adults). there is a wide selection of pizza pasta salads and dessert items. All items available on buffet so you don"t have to wait for service. The buffet was always well stocked with hot food.

The kids always love this place! I enjoy all of the variety of pizzas, but also the pasta, soups, salads, deserts, etc! Always another item to try out. Always something new. Service was very good too.

I'm glad I left a couple dollars on the table for our server, because we forgot a bottle of sanitizer and he ran it out to the parking lot for us! That was above and beyond!

We'll see you again, folks!

Hungry Howies is fantastic for help yourself, all you can ever want pizza, spent 2 hours there sitting, eating, socializing and enjoyed every minute. Prices are reasonable and this one has a dining room right by the Manatee river, a nice place for fast, inexpensive eats.
