The friendliest service you will find anywhere. Food is really, really good. Way above expectations even after reading trip advisor reviews. The view is 180 degrees across the water on a porch with a great big fan on it. Save room for dessert and share! Couldn’t recommend a place more.

Oysters were cooked perfectly - delicious! Grouper was good too - fried and blackened. Goid homemade fries. Cheese grits were just ok. Get the fries. Okra alittle over cooked.

Found this place in the Entertainment Book. What a cute place, and the food is delicious! I had a chicken Caesar wrap with homemade tortilla chips and my husband had a cheeseburger wrap with tots. I noticed that they were having a fundraiser for a young mother afflicted with cancer. I understand that doing that type of thing is common with them. I can get behind that type of community commitment. Check it out next time you’re in the area!

The Pesky Pelican has become a usual return spot for us. We’ve been here many times and always leave satisfied. Go for the daily specials and the local seafood. We always get the fried island mullet when they have it. A whole fish filleted with backbone attached…the sweetest meat. The fried okra side is always a hit. Lots of fried food here, as is true for many of the restaurants in the area. Bottled beers available for $2 (recently up from $1.75, but still a good deal). Service is usually friendly and quick. The customer base is local plus tourists in the high seasons. Give it a try.

One of the best seafood dinners we've ever had in Florida. Been in hundreds of resteraunts in Florida and this is my favorite. The service is outstanding and atmosphere is FLORIDA.
