Very clean pet friendly motel with walking distance to town. No extra charges for pets or size limitations. We stayed here long term while looking for a house. Susie is the best and makes sure everything runs smoothly. Met many nice people during our stay. Be sure and check out honeymoon island. Very nice dog beach.

I can't imagine that anyone had a bad experience with Susie. I found her to be cordial and informative. The motel is older but very clean, there was a full refrigerator, stove, microwave and sink. Seventh Sun is just down the sidewalk and a leisurely walk of ten minutes or so puts you in the quaint downtown or at the marina. Honeymoon island is 5-10 minutes away by car.

Room Tip: We enjoyed room #9

I called the Seaside Artisan Hotel for information on their hotel and they could not have been ruder. They need a lesson in customer service. I asked about room availability for certain dates and they guy rudely there was none. I asked if he had any info on other hotels in the area he said rudely again no. Before I could ask anything else, maybe is there a waiting list or if someone canceled, etc., he said rudely "Good Luck" and hung up. A real Prince!!!

Sea Side Artisan is a perfect name for this vintage Florida motel located in the heart of Dunedin. In the ten years that Dan and Susie Clark have owned the motel, their warm spirit and artistic talent has created a unique, cozy place for people and pets to come enjoy. They are truly pet friendly - one of the very few motels that welcome pets. Some of the murals on the buildings are of actual pets that have stayed here. The atmosphere and people make you feel right at home. Regular guests return time and time again as their home away from home. They have nine fully equipped efficiency units that are comfortable and immaculately cleaned. Floors are tile, so no need to worry about carpet. Windows span across the entire backside of each unit. And, each unit has a stained glass window made by Dan that adds special charm. The outside is landscaped with plenty of places to relax. There are also grills for cookouts. I have been at the motel for about a month. I love being able to walk anywhere and feel safe. The Pinellas Trail is just across the street. Behind the motel, is a beautiful path to stroll along St. Joseph's Sound. You can either head toward downtown Dunedin to see the shops, restaurants, parks and marina; or, you can head toward Weaver Park where there is a long pier, beautiful sunsets and sometimes outside concerts. Honeymoon and Caladesi Islands are very close. Everything you could ever need is either within walking distance or very near by. Just can't help but to fall in love with the place. TM
