Recommended length of visit: 1-2 hours
Owner description: No Walk-ins Accepted - Small boat tours - We no longer offer tours: May-October due to the water quality and manatee numbers. Tour Reservation Confirmation Required by email only -We are a private tour company owned and operated ONLY by the owners/captains. We give each tour the "personal and educational" attention you want and allow the manatees to feel comfortable while we explore their world. While on tour if you ask, we'll even explain how manatee rescues are performed and what we do in our spare time as manatee volunteers to help PROTECT and PRESERVE, this incredible species for future generations. LOOK- DON'T TOUCH the wild manatees, touching/rubbing/petting manatees reduces their chance for survival as you habituate them towards boats and people. Keep wildlife wild.

“Swimming with manatees .. Crystal river”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 February 2012

My family went on a Crystal river tour with Capt . Stacy Dunn this past week to swim with the manatees . My 2 children are ages 7 and 11 and there are no words to describe how wonderful this experience was ! Capt Dunn is not only professional and has a clear love for these beautiful animals , but is very knowledgeable an knew exactly where to take us to have the best interactions in a respectful way towards the manatees . There are other tours there , but based on what I saw , this is by far the best one out there as far as individualized attention and interaction . She was right out there with us in the water to guide our experience , and took many high quality photos . Go with Capt Dunn and you will not be disappointed !!!

“Fantastic Magical Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 February 2012

Captain Stacy is so welcoming and friendly and has excellent knowledge of the manatees. She ensures you have an invaluable experience whilst she respects and cares for the manatees and their environment. By only taking small groups (there was just the three of us on our boat, myself and two friends) the experience is also very private. She provides wet suits so you don’t get cold, and takes you to two places on the river, so you see loads of manatees and if you are lucky one will come up and interact with you. To top it all off, Stacy also swims in the water and takes photos of the magical moments which she e-mails to you free of charge. Fantastic. The experience was totally magical. Thank you Captain Stacy.

“Awesome... beautiful day with gentle giants”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 February 2012

Capt Stacy and Mike's Manatee tour was the highlight of all our trips to Florida. The understanding and knowledge they provided showed their real concern for the well being of the Manatee. I planned our trip based on past Trip Advisor reviews and we were not disappointed. Stacey and Mike provided first class srevice in a family environment. Stacey provided calm reassurance in the water to my daughters to enjoy this wonderful experience. The photos taken by Mike from the boat will provide many memories of a perfect day with these large gentle mammals.

“Visit the manatees with Captains Mike and Stacy, even if you don't get in the water.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 February 2012

We chose to take an eco-tour with Captain Mike, cruising King's Bay and islands and stopping at Three Sisters Spring. We didn't swim with the manatees on this visit but had a wonderful time watching the manatees and birds. Both Captain Mike and Captain Stacy are dedicated to the protection and preservation of the manatees. Both had been involved for days in rescue efforts. We - and the manatees - are fortunate to have both these individuals who are so knowledgable and who do business in a professional and structured manner so that the manatees can thrive.

“What an incredible time with the gentle giants”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 February 2012

I have to say that was one of the best snorkeling tours I've ever been on. Stacy knows a great deal about the Manatees and is concerned about their health and well being. It was a joy to be able to actually be in the water with the Manatees, including a baby while he was nursing. in most places the water is extremely clear and you can see them from 30 to 40 feet away.
I highly recommend Capt Stacy and Manatees in Paradise!
