Excellent place to stay! Leann, the manager, wonderful, professional, completely dedicated to making your stay the greatest possible! Rooms very clean. Atmosphere excellent. Was only able to stay a short stay in June... liked it so well traveling back to have several days stay in July.

My family and I stayed at Frenchy s Oasis for a long weekend . The staff, the rooms and all the accommodations were excellent. Clean Clean rooms.. We will see you again. I worked for Frenchy over 15 years ago at Rockaway s one of his restaurants, he is an amazing owner and friend to all that meet him. Way to go ...

I am not a person who writes reviews but I really enjoy reading the fantastic (true) reviews at my favorite place to vacation. I am not sure how many times we have stayed at Frenchy's but I do know this, we have stayed at least one time per year, but mostly two, since they opened the motel. The consistency is what I love the most. Every time we go, I brace myself for the motel to not be as nice or the staff to not be so friendly and accommodating, but nothing ever changes! The unbelievable part is, that over the years, some things have gotten even better!! This year when we showed up our terrazzo floors were redone, gorgeous! Frenchy did change management some years back and from our perspective that has been very positive since our reservation was misplaced one time. We are glad that the rules are enforced and that the manager is willing to sometimes be the "bad guy" to ensure that people do not get out of hand.

Pros: Beautiful motel, friendly staff, family atmosphere, dock for fishing or relaxing, pool that is refreshing, pool towels provided, beach items for your use, free laundry that is kept clean and tidy, big bathroom, fluffy towels, shampoo and soap that smells great, stocked kitchenette, safe in the room, lounge with computer and printer, books to borrow, movies to watch, ten rooms that have either balconies or patios that face the water, dolphins, manatees, stingrays, fish jumping out of the water,I could go on all day but you get the picture.

Cons for some: Rules are enforced for safety and for other guests comfort and satisfaction, and for keeping Frenchy's the #1 motel in Clearwater Beach!

Room Tip: We have stayed in several rooms and have our favorite but not a bad view in the place

We have been to CWB many times, and this was the first time staying at this place. There were definitely many pluses to staying here versus other places:
-cost: we had a 2 bed room on the upstairs floor with a balcony view of the harbor and the front door facing the pool. just over a grand for a week!
-location: you are right across from Cooter and Frenchys, plus very good walking distance to several other restaurants. Also, Walgreens is very close and CVS just a little further in another directions. Many other shops very close, the marina is just on the other side of the roundabout, and beach is maybe a 5-7 min walk away.
-amenities: with kids, having on-site, free laundry was a huge plus. the pool is very nice, never crowded since there are only 15 rooms on site. they do provide towels for the pool, and there are a host of other items there for your use at the beach (umbrellas, sand toys, chairs), theres a deck out back on the harbor. each room has a kitchenette, full size refrigerator, A/C. The rooms in general are nicely decorated. Each TV has a blu ray player, and the hotel has a wide selection of movies you can use, including a selection of kids movies.

if you have smaller kids, highly recommend getting a first floor room for convenience to the pool. But note, your patio facing the harbor is not gated, so need to keep your door locked so they arent getting out! The Frenchys right by the hotel has $5 burgers and $.99 beers on Mondays, and Cooters has all you can eat crab legs on Mon and tues. Take advantage of the chairs and/or umbrellas that are there...they are expensive to rent on the beach. If you have never been here, be sure to visit the Pier in the evening....great entertainment. Also for kids, i recommend the Florida Aquarium if you have a car to get there. But note, you really dont need a car in CWB if you dont plan on going too far. you can easily use Uber or Lyft to the airport and back for 25-30 bucks each way.

Have fun!

We have enjoyed are 8 day stay here even with its raining every day but the last. We enjoyed setting out back on the very nice deck watching the dolphins. The guys at the fish house were helpful on where to dock our boat. Overall great and we will be back.
