We stayed as a family in the hideaway cottage, pictures are same as in person. 7 adults 3 children had plenty of room. Nice beach decor, with nice counter tops and new appliances. But what really sets this place apart is Capt Al and Karen who met us at the cottage to make sure everything was in order, let us use the bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas and buckets. This saves a ton of money! You can rent chairs on the beach for $25 a day or purchase at Walgreens for $30 each, and with the kids all the buckets shovels and other item are there. You are literally less than 150 steps to soft white sand. Less than 0.5 miles from all shopping and dining. I have stayed in this area before and it's perfect, the beach is not crowded and you can see the pier and walk easy to the excitement if you want. We enjoyed relaxing with our group able to come and go as they pleased. There was an outside shower we used multiple times a day. Our cottage was quiet which was a huge plus! We used the grill one night too. Rodney at check in was a hoot who gave us great advice on the restaurant specials in the area. We would definitely stay here again, its quaint and cozy, feels like your staying with extended family. Karen works her butt off to make sure your happy.
The picture above is indeed the cottage. Updated inside with hard surface counters, all necessary appliances and cooking needs. All tile floors. Fit our needs to the "T". Easy walk to down town Clearwater Beach.
We had so much fun at corner cottage. It was just the right size for our family, and so close to the beach. We walked to the beach each morning and evening, and let the kids nap during the hot part of the day. We appreciated the kitchen stocked with dishes and pans, coffee maker and wine cork, so we were able to cook most days which saved money (and made picky kids happy). Glad there was a broom to sweep up our sand each day, and plenty of towels and towel hooks to dry our things. We couldn't get Wi-fi in the cottage, but were able to get it in the gazebo outside. We knew that from the reviews before we arrived, and were hoping to stay unplugged all week anyway, but were glad to have access when we needed to pull up maps for our trip. If you like quirky old homes and want to cook for yourself, this is a great place to stay.

We really enjoyed our time at the beach cottages. We were literally steps away from the beach in the Tommy Bahama suite. Also very close to local establishments to get some food or refreshments. Service from captain Al and his first mate Karen was exceptional. They were accommodating to everything needed and were super nice our whole stay. If your looking to enjoy the beach and have some fun this is the place to be!
