Lovely museum with plenty of hidden gems. Check out the large painting on the 2nd floor against the south wall for a Soviet surprise.
The glass exhibit was exceptionally fascinating and even captured the interest of a bored 16yr old!

The museum is a delightful journey through 20th Century Modern Art. It has a moderate collection of very fine contemporary paintings, sculptures and ceramics. The visitor will be aware of many of the artists works and some surprises from a number of not so well known artists who should be given more exposure. The galleries are lighted perfectly to showcase the exhibited pieces in the best possible way. The museum's permanent collection is a tour de force and with regularly changing special exhibitions giving other notable and newly discovered artists excellent exposure. The museum also offers numerous special programs, classes for both adults and children. Its music concerts are a wonderful mix of music gendre's that draws enthusiastic audiences.

This exhibition is truly amazing....from artists around the world. During our 2 hour visit, we returned several times to enjoy two in particular...the huge glass crow and the heart of glass police batons! The ingenuity of the artists rouses deep emotions as one enjoys their awesome work.
Our advice is do not attend if you are in a hurry....
