Had an excellent lunch in the bar, had lump crab , and Baxter IPA, it was great, and the service was wonderful.

Reception room was adequate for our party but nothing special to look at. Food was good and and kept well stocked. Drinks were over priced.

Getting orders from bar was extremely slow. First drinks were missing twists of lemon. Second drinks were served when our dinners were just about finished. Two of the same drinks were differently charged, one noting Reserve and the other,Regular. Roasted Salmon dinners were nicely prepared, tasty and appropriate portions. The Stone House Red Braised Short Ribs dinner was very tasty but should be renamed Stone House Red Braised Short "Rib". The portion of meat was dwarf to the portion of Barlotto. As a $25 dinner, a more generous portion of meat would be highly recommended, otherwise remove from the menu or lower the price.

It is very apparent that’s a lot of effort went into that restaurant to inspire a warm, rich, and relaxing atmosphere . However very little effort went into choosing the staff . The quality, presentation and attitude of the staff does not match the atmosphere. Inexperienced , sloppy , confrontational , and rude. No matter how excellent , good or bad the food is ......it becomes unimportant. We go there to have a good time , not to reprogram peoples lack of basic etiquette, inferiority complexes, and employees obviously either hate being there or hate their job .
What a waste of a lovely place

Try the Paella. You won't regret it. I also like the chicken arugula salad. The building is beautiful. The dining room can get a bit noisy on busy nights.
