Went for an early dinner on a recent Sunday. We decided to have our dinner in the bar area which was quiet at this hour and had a nice view of a small garden. Our waitress was very good, prompt with drinks and fresh rolls with olive oil for dipping. We selected fried calamari with hot peppers for an appetizer. They were pretty good, very large portion. We would have like them a little crispier. We each had a pasta dish. My paglia e fieno was delicious. The dish was not made with the usual fettuccine, but with a fresh spaghetti which was quite chewy and delicious. The dish included bacon and prosciutto in a garlicky sauce. Parmesan cheese was freshly grated and so good! My husband had a dish of penne with chicken, sausage and broccoli rabe. Also really good. He would have liked a better mix of the meats- which for him would be more sausage, less chicken. But everything was very good, if a bit pricey. The entrees are ala carte, salad is separate- around $5 for a side salad. Our pasta dishes were $22 and $24. Calamari was $12. But we would like to return to try some other menu items.
