Everything was excellent, especially breakfast. The service was excellent too. When back to the island I would of course choose this hotel again, also because of the very friendly behaviour of the hotel-keeper family.

Room Tip: A couple of more wall-sockets as well as a wardrobe would be helpful.

When we go on vacations we always look for a place that promotes the country s culture in the way it is built, decorated and kept. The food it provides its guests with.

This time we did not have to try hard. After picking us up from the port with a prearranged taxi, we were expected and greeted from the owners with traditional freshly baked spinach pie with feta and raki (grapa) in their garden...

Quiet Greek blues from the 30s in the background and an environment for you to relax and unwind. The people working there are all like a familly and soon you feel one of them as well.

For someone who is always trying to find the place to stay or eat or both that will offer him a good idea of the people of that country, this is the one for you. A romantic deeped in tradition oasis...

Room Tip: Best view ofcourse from the rooms upstairs that are given only to direct bookings. Breakfast is a mu...

This small family-owned hotel provides excellent service and we immediately felt at home in the room with a nice balcony. The breakfast buffet includes a variety of delicious home-made pies and jams/marmelades - a real treat. The small beach, overlooked by a nice tavern, is within walking distance (5 minutes) and, for discovering the lovely island if Aegina, rental cars or motorbikes are available. Overall a perfect place for those who prefer a quiet place outside of the city/main port of Aegina.

We were wondering around Aegina on a bike trying to find a secluded beach so we will not have to mix with everybody else and enjoy nature.

Reaching the beachfront village of Vagia we were lucky enough to pass outside Vagia Hotel, where homemade orange pie was getting baked in the afternoon for next day's breakfast. We stoped and as soon as we went upstairs to the hotel garden we imidiately felt relaxed... the decoration, the music and the friendly smile of Notis played a major part in that. We were offered local wines and fingerfood and we decided to spend the night there since there was availability.

At night Greek delicacies were offered to which we could not say no! The room was very clean and with sea view... We ended up staying for 4 days instead of one!

Definately coming back...Definately.

Room Tip: dont even think about loosing the breakfast... Try booking directly with the owner for better prices...
