The sandwich selection at Panera Bread is varied, offering tasty choices guaranteed to satisfy your tastebuds. Most visits result in a fairly priced meal, which is generally of high quality. Except sometimes, not so much.

The problem seems to stem from the counter help. On several occasions my party has received mistake laden orders; and once no order at all (this was a phone order for lunch which got lost by ineptitude). Often the workers act lackadaisical, shuffling around behind the counter half asleep. Which is surprising considering that most of the managers we interacted with were professional and eager to assist. Oddly enough the service seems better when they're busy at peak lunch/dinner hours.

Over the last three years, we've eaten here approximately 50+ times. And to be fair, the great meals far outweigh the bad. Take out has also improved dramatically thanks to their online order system. Everything is done via the web; just drive there and grab your dinner. Speedy and convenient.

As far as the food itself is concerned, it's generally excellent. Panera has great breakfast items available too, so it's useful for any dining situation. Feel free to take advantage of their fresh baked goods as well; buy an entire loaf of that great bread your sandwich came on.

There bagels are great but I really enjoynthe salads. Several options to choose from, each is freshnand crisp.

Went to Panera North Haven today, to pick up a sandwich. Ordered turkey on whole grain . One of the most overpriced sandwiches, and they got the order wrong.
I ordered the whole versus half sandwich.
So I got two, 2, sandwiches four slices of bread slapped together with a lot of mayo, appeared to have been bought earlier that day at a supermarket. Terrible. Waste of money. I should have gone to the supermarket for the same sandwich instead.

Could not find a clean table if your life depended on it. Crumbs everywhere tables, floors, fireplace hearth, WTF. Clean it is gross. Service at the register was quick and efficient. Baked goods looked very good in the case, scones, muffins, Danish and more. Broccoli cheddar soup was ok, barely warm. Flavor was flat. It needed something. My daughter's lunch was a turkey cheese and bacon sandwich on tomato basil bread. She enjoyed it. Please clean more.
