Went on a Wednesday night. Good crowd for middle of the week. Sat at sushi bar which was a great decision. The manner in which the chefs serve the sushi is impressive. The quality of the sushi equally impressive. Always check out the specials. On this night they had fresh Maine uni, fatty tuna and white salmon. We got some of each and were not disappointed. Again, the presentation was fantastic and you can tell the chefs take pride in what they do. Excellent meal

We were actually going to go to another restaurant but this was closed so after reading trip advisor reviews decided to go to johnnys. Actually we were told by our hotel that there were not any good Chinese restaurants at mystic. We had a really excellent meal BUT we ordered too much. We ordered as an appetiser, pork dumpling, entree, half Peking duck, curry chicken, and shrimp with snow peas. We had to have the curry chicken bagged up. Service was very good as well, as was the prices.

Love the sushi, we've been coming here now for 4 years won't eat sushi any where else... You'd never know they were here tucked away in a little corner. It's very clean and neat all the way to the restrooms. A favorite place. Best part you can't smell fish.

An old standby for Chinese food. Better than average.
Service was fine and a full bar available. Décor wasn't over the top Chinese.. The Peking duck was good, but given the restaurant's name should have been a show stopper.

This was the first time I had ever been to this restaurant. The waitress came over and greeted us, and took our order. After that, she then came over and told us that she was leaving and she had briefed another person to take care of us.

We waited about 20 minutes before saying anything to anyone. We had no beverages, and we had finished all the little appetizers they give you. No one came over and even acknowledged us until we pointed out that we were waiting for food.

Someone then came over and asked us what we ordered. We responded and told them and we got a very curt answer. Then slowly after another 5 or so minutes had passed our food showed up one by one.

Personally, the food was good but it was not worth the wait and the hassle. I will not be coming back.
