Perfect location next to mystic seaport. Met the chef who was very nice gentleman. They had a fire in basement before we arrived for a dinner for 15 guests. As the fire trucks were pulling away. They were a little frazzled in the start but quickly warmed up and made some amazing dishes and made I feel very welcome. Delish food.

Not impressed. There were a lot of us, so we had a lot of different things.

The latitude burger was really quite bad. A standard, over cooked “tooth and eyelash” burger on a dry bun with battered crap, fries and no dressing, accompanied with chemically enhanced fries.

The battered fish was nice, but it came with the chemically enhanced fries.

The portions were all too big all around.

My advice:

- reduce the portion size and increase the quality of the ingredients

- cook real fries from hand cooked potatoes rather than those coated frozen monstrosities.

What a wonderful place. We were able to start with a drink in this cool rustic New England style bar and then make our way into a more formal dining area for dinner. The food was amazing. The raw seafood very fresh. Our dinners were excellent. Very interesting lobster dishes! The service was fantastic. We loved our entire experience at this restaurant.

Great spot for a wedding venue, fine dinning or just a burger at the pub.
Good beer selection and outdoor seating during warmer months.
