First, the good: It's convenient if you want to stay at the casino, the bathroom was lovely, and I personally like a squishy mattress. (If you prefer firm, you're going to have a poor night sleep).
The bad: It was a holiday weekend *and* there was a wedding, check in took forever. It would have gone faster if the 4 empty computers at the check in had actually been manned instead of the 2 (and finally 3) they actually bothered to staff. Check in took about 45 minutes of standing in line. Be careful of "taxes and fees". We got a special rate with our comedy tickets and after taxes and fees there was an extra $80 on the bill for the night. Also, the tv was terrible (older LCD with poor picture and sound quality). The comforter was too thin and had holes in so that I might as well have been sleeping under a top sheet. The AC control would't stay set, so every time I turned it up to a reasonable temperature, it would default to 60. Pair that with the ultra thin (and NOT insulated) bedding and I spent the night curled in a ball, wrapped in in the inadequate comforter like a cucoon, literally shivering. I woke up aching like I had been hit by a truck. Also, while I like a nice soft mattress, I don't like one so soft that it creates a divot and I spend the night rolling down hill into my husband.
The ugly: In the morning my husband thought his wedding ring had rolled off the nightstand and moved the duvet and the pillows to see if it was in the bed. This revealed, to our disgust and astonishment, a huge yellow stain from the edge of the bed where the sheet tucks over the corner to almost the middle across the diagonal. At first I thought it might have been my make up, but then realized my pillow didn't have any make up on it, and there's no way for my face to have left a swath of jaundice yellow from the middle of the bed to up under the pillows. I don't know how we missed it the night before, I can only guess that with most of it hidden under the pillows and with us just shifting the blankets enough to crawl into bed and *try* to sleep that we didn't see it in the dim light. My husband is so grossed out I may never get him into Foxwoods again let alone stay overnight there.
