We recently had two dinners and one breakfast at Vivo while staying at the Marriott Hotel in which the restaurant is located. The breakfast was perfect (simple bacon and eggs). The dinners were good, if not great. Had the lamb medallions one night and the tuna the other night. The lamb itself was not particularly flavorful; if I had not known it was lamb, I might have guessed it was beef. The accompanying grits, however, were excellent. The temperature was as requested and the sauce was good. The same can be said for the tuna. Request extra sauce for both dishes because it is needed to add flavor to the underlying protein. We especially liked two of the desserts: the banana foster creme brulee and the chocolate mousse. What truly made dinner a pleasant experience was the excellent service provided by Marisa and Giselle; both were friendly, helpful and efficient.
