Every few months they hold a fabulous children's art workshop which consists of a museum instructor bringing the children - of all ages but mostly elementary age - around the gallery for a question and answer tour of the exhibit. Then a fantastic workshop in their beautifully wallpapered arts room. I don't know why so very children attend, these workshops in NYC museums have a waiting list. My daughter enjoyed their Alfred Sisley and Andy Warhol exhibits and workshops.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at the Bruce Museum. Laura Stricker, Bruce Museum's Manager of Youth and Family Programs, works hard to create programs and workshops that will inspire young visitors and provide an enriching Museum experience for families.

A great place for those with children with frequent activities and a fun archeologic area. The visiting exhibits are always worth the trip for adults too.

What a pleasant surprise! We are from Pittsburgh, so the Warhols did not impress us. (This, so called artist doesn’t impress me in Pittsburgh either). But overall art collection was impressive. My favorite was The Kiss sculpture by Auguste Rodin.
