Ive done “free walking tours” in many countries and Shiva’s tour was one of the best I’ve ever taken. He spent over four hours with us and the time flew by. He really went above and beyond based on the will and mood of the group. We learned things about the history of Kathmandu and about the present as well. He was also able to teach us so much about both Buddhism and Hinduism. Do yourself a favor and take Shiva’s tour. You won’t regret it.

Trekking to 3 passes on Everest with Himkala Adventure was one of the greatest lifetime experiences ever! Shiva organized our trek and it was very smooth, pleasant and absolutely remarkable. I've enjoyed the Sherpa land, the Namcha Bazaar, the great view from Tengboche Monastery, the Kalapatthar and the adjacent mountains, Everest basecamp, Gokyo Ri and so on...
Thank you very much for this awesome trekking, it was something that I will never forget.

After EBC trekking we still had some time left in Kathmandu and we wanted to explore the city. I think the best way to do so is with Shiva and his free walking tour. The tour was very interesting - he showed us also the local, hidden places of Kathmadu and some of the most important attrations. We learned a lot of new things. Thank you Shiva! We defenitely recommend this free walking tour! :)

We did the free walking tour with Shiva in the beginning of our trip to Nepal and it was very informative and entertaining!
We walked a lot through the central city and Shiva showed us little magic places in small streets that we probably wouldnt have seen or understood.
Of course we also went to the main sightswwing attraxtions and ended in Durbar Square. Definetely a Higlight to hear about the Temples, the earthquake, the royal Family and the start of the Republic.
Shiva was always open for questions and answered very profoundly.

If you're looking for a competent and nice and entertaining guide, you're right with the free walking tour!
