Fantastic all round. The facilites are excellent, location excellent, even the other guests, but more than all, the staff just make this place tick. You are treated more like an extension to the Lazier family, than a guest. For the traveller on business there is strong Wifi throughout, pc, fax, internet and a quiet conference room area for meetings. For the ski; only a 200 yd walk to the lift and ski to the back door on good days ( within 50 yds on bad days). The village centre is only 100 yds away, but far enough to be quiet at night. Hotel breakfast, although now charged for is excellent quality and quantity.

My husband and I have spent our careers traveling so we know an excellent hotel when we experience it, and Tivoli is at the top of our chart after spending seven nights there. The entire staff is professional, friendly, and all have a positive "can do" attitude. The breakfast is delicious and well worth the price. The afternoon cookies are a treat to look forward to! The room, complete with thick towels, robes, and even flip flops for the hot tub (!), is comfortable and well appointed. Our room looked out on the slopes and had a nice fireplace too. Here's a treat: when you check in, they will take your skis/boots to the locker room for storage, and when you are ready to ski in the morning, they will hand you your boots etc. and take your shoes away until you return. All this with a friendly attitude and no one lurking around for a tip (though it is nice to give one). This hotel is relaxed and not about "rules" which makes the atmosphere comfortable and relaxed. Newspapers, like the WSJ and NYTs, are placed on the coffee table in front of a roaring fire each morning for all to share The owner, Bob, is circulating most days with a very special chocolate lab named Speedy. We loved it the Tivoli and eagerly look forward to returning. This is one special hotel.

Tivoli Lodge was the perfect place for us. I went with my girlfriends and the location was primo! it's right in the heart of Vail Village, close to everything. The slopes are a short walk away, and Red Lion in right around the corner! I loved having the the ski valet for set up and break down of ski gear! And, the hot drinks/cookies apres ski was a very nice touch! The staff was extremely warm and friendly, and the rooms are great! The beds are comfy and the bathroom is spacious. We will definitely be staying here again!

Tivoli is truly beautiful - from the communal areas (fantastic, cosy lounge and fireplace) to the spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Treat yourself to the mountain view room with fireplace. The fireplace really made it for me.
Location is ideal - short amble to Vista Bahn and a little further to Riva Bahn (I found myself plotting my ski routes around Vista as it was more convenient and a shorter queue). Vail village is a short and pleasant walk away - restaurant recommendations on the website are worth paying attention to.
Staff are beyond friendly and helpful, including the owners who you'll bump into from time to time.
Need to try hard to find fault with this place so only negative is that breakfast is an additional charge, would be nice if it was included with the room rate.
Besides that, a wonderful place to stay in Vail and I will definitely be going back and recommended it to all.

Room Tip: Had a king room with mountainview and fireplace on the second floor. Was quiet and near to the elev...

Snow removal trucks make the street side rooms less desirable. They start at 5am. I'd pay extra for mountain view / quieter side..

Room Tip: There were noisy snow removal trucks at about 5am. Only a problem if you're in the street side...
