The unit was as expected but the service orientation of the front desk employees was not good. They were reluctant at best to make an effort to answer or act on a request.
A car is a must as they do not have a shuttle although the bus is reliable (25 minutes to the slopes). Grocery shopping is difficult is not impossible. Please do not expect any help for luggage or direction to your unit (except a map ) . Nothing about this venue made skiing Vail an appealing option.

We swam one morning, then hiked in the afternoon finishing the day soaking in the adults only hot tub. Very nice. Hiking is accessible from the Club / condos. With a short drive more trails are available. Particularly trails into the Eagles Nest Wilderness Area. Which is beautiful public space! The next day, morning yoga with Haley. It was superb.

Beautiful views, so if you're not playing well at least you have a great view! LOVE playing on the clay....just remember the courts have to be 'swept' and you'll need new white sock.....there is no saving red clay court socks!

The clay courts here are fantastic. They also have several hard courts. All are well maintained. Have relaxing tables and chairs in the area. As well as a playground within sight, but not within sound!

We were on vacation with our family in Vail, and brought along our tennis racquets. We showed up at the Vail Racquet Club unannounced, and were able to get a court right away. It was $15 for an hour, and $20 for an hour and a half. This is somewhat less than the club where I play at home. The courts are Har-Tru clay, and I had never played on it before, so that was interesting. I didn't find any special difficulty playing on the surface. You are encouraged to brush the courts with brushes provided on each court after you finish playing, which took a few minutes. The staff was helpful and friendly. They had complimentary sunscreen if you forgot yours (which we had!). All in all, it was a great time spent in Vail on vacation.
