The location of this hotel is amazing! It is just within a block from all the shops and everything else "downtown". The room itself is a bit old and outdated. The bed is not comfortable and so are the pillows. They offer a free "cold" breakfast, very simple, but good quality. They offer good orange juice, milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, boiled eggs, limited cereals and limited fruits. However, it was good. They have a nice breakfast room, and a very nice fireplace in the breakfast room. There is paid parking across the hotel. During the off season, there is free public parking within 4-5 blocks of walking. The staff there is nice. They have a heated pool, which comes handy when the weather gets chilly. The hotel is suited for skiers and it has many equipment to make it easier to hold your skiing equipment there. I loved the place, even though I hope they will update at least the mattresses and their pillows.

Vail was full of leaf watchers and we were lucky to find a room. Christiania put us in a wonderful suite at The Bridge Street Lodge. Couldn't ask for a better location. Right next door to the delicious Almresi restaurant. The plaza and Bridge Street are the only place to be on a nice warm afternoon.

Room tip: Overlooking the fountain.

I had booked a two day weekend stay through Groupon, and was very disappointed. The reservation was done in August for a stay in mid October. Once in the room, we were quite shocked. It was in the basement next to housekeeping, with our window at street level. The bed wasn't even queen size and the two of us could barely walk by each other.
The manager's response to me was that they were completely booked and even he did not like room 101. The location is great, but what a shame!

Room tip: Do not take a room with the 100 #

A wonderful experience. This is a very cozy lodge type hotel, right in the heart of Vail Village. Very good value...one of the best deals in town. Not luxury, but very very comfortable and pleasant. The breakfast was wonderful...complimentary! The staff, friendly and accommodating. Who could ask for more?

Room tip: chose a room on the second floor or above. Avoid rooms facing the street in the busy season. Fine when we were there in October.

Our family stayed at the Christiania over Labor Day, an annual trek for us. Not only were they incredibly accommodating to our family in helping us obtain extra beds for our teenage boys, but the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and courteous. The property is beautiful and is located within steps to the heart of Vail Village. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The complimentary continental breakfast was simple, yet tasty and filling; served in a beautiful and cozy room, complete with fireplace, comfy furniture, tables and chairs that encourage relaxation and conversation.

Room tip: Rooms on floor level (or subterranean/garden level) had a bit more foot traffic noise, but none of it was invasive or disrupted our sleep.
