I just had lunch here today after they've now newly opened year round dinning. They are serving a very good diner menu from 11:00 - 7:00pm, 7 days a week. I had Fish and Chips with fresh Cod, Very Good and more than I could eat,...I can eat!) My wife had a Patty Melt with Potato Salad. All very good.

Our family of 10 included 4 kids were looking forward to getting up close with the dogs however after 6:00 the dog opportunities are not available; our bad. They did spend time watching them from outside the pens. Once inside it was the standard excellent service, atmosphere and food which I have enjoyed for at least 20years. The kids enjoyed experimenting with the game dishes such as boar and elk which were well received as carpaccio and entres. The wine list was comprehensive, we had 2010 gigondas which was great with the various meats. This is a perfect place for a rousing evening.

As we were dropped off for our dinner, there was a beautiful sunset over the mountains. The dogs are wonderful to look at and learn about, our kids loved them. There is an outdoor fire pit that can be enjoyed before or after dinner. The dinner was very tasty. We have very young kids and showed up at 5pm for dinner. At this point it was not crowded and we did not have to worry about bothering others during their nice meal. By 630 the place was packed. We will be back soon!

Table for 14 for a work trip was this year's booking and again these guys didn't disappoint.

A well proven range of dishes with a game slant.

Great laid back Colorado service.

The Rocky Mountain center for dog sled racing, Krabloonik is nested in a small canyon near Snowmass, CO. I have been here for dinner 20 times over the last two decades and it is consistently good. The menu is full of domesticated and wild meats and the wine list is complete with excellent choices. Of course Krabloonik is expensive, but worth it compared to other local options.
