We were able to enjoy Chimney Rock, Mesa Verde and Great Sand Dunes as day trips from this location. Many trails in the National Forest are usually available (we had limited ability to enjoy it as there were some wild fires that closed the forest). The hot springs are another activity. Plenty of outdoor activities such as tubing are accessible. Great place for a vacation. The unit was in good condition, clean and with all needed for the stay (plenty of room for a one bedroom unit!). I would visit again!

This is our second time at Wyndhm Pagosa. Last time we stayed at Teal Landing which we loved! This time it was Peregrine. Not nearly as nice. The unit is much smaller, the shower is very small. Not that big of a deal since we usually showered after swimming at the recreation building. The hot tub in our building was out of order the whole week. Everyday I would ask about it and be told, it will up and running in the morning, or tonight! It wasn't until Wed that they were honest and told us it wasn't going to be fixed anytime soon. The picnic table was sinking into the ground at such an angle we couldn't use it. We couldn't use the grill because of fire danger.(Nobody's fault there) There were lots of little things, seemed like we were calling maintenance alot. They were very responsive and fixed the problems right away (except for the hot tub). We had a problem with the thermostat , there wasn't a bottom sheet for the murphy bed, only 1 blanket was given for 2 beds. Not enough towels for 3 people. There was a problem with the freezer leaking water. No dining table, just a breakfast bar for 2. If we all wanted to sit together to eat we had to eat at the coffee table. The mini golf course needs some serious maintenance. The felt is torn in alot of placed and some of the holes just couldn't be played. On the good side though, the unit was comfortable (after the thermostat got fixed) and everything was very clean. We had looked forward to going fishing but the fees had almost doubled from last time so only my husband and grand daughter fished. They caught a respectable number of trout. We spent alot of time at the activities building. We painted birdhouses, butterflies, went to Boogie Bingo and the Memorial Day hotdog roast. Played games. We checked out board games from the office. All in all it was a very pleasant stay and we had a great time, especially our grand daughter. I wouldn't want to stay in Peregrine again though, if I had a choice. Too small and our patio looked out onto the parking lot. We might check out a different property next time.

Room Tip: Don't stay at Peregrine! Teal Landing is very nice

We left Wyndham Durango and then headed to Pagosa Springs. We own Wyndham points(resale!) So we stayed here.
Check in was smooth enough, reassuring the Wyn rep that we didn't need an owner update and out the door we went.

This is a large, spread out complex with several different types of units under several different HOA's. That said,I can see why some liked their accommodations and some don't.

We had an older unit that was in good shape. Huge at about 1,000 + sq ft. Soaring ceilings. Just a one bedroom. We were located on the golf course,so nice view out back.
Everything worked well in the unit. The furnishings were comfortable.

This is a great spot for families with younger children. Plenty of room to run around and activities

We own Worldmark and we wanted to try a new resort, so we tried Pagosa Springs, Colorado. We had only one of our kids with us this time and she had a great time, as did we.

Check-in was breezy. There was confusion on my end--I usually look for Worldmark signs--there was only a Wyndham sign. Check in was quick and even though the resort is actually huge with several different complexes around, the maps that they gave us were easy to read and understand.

We stayed in a one bedroom unit on the top floor. The ceilings were very high in the bedroom. The hide-a-bed was comfortable and our daughter loved sleeping on it. The bathroom was big, the tub was big and had jets. The kitchen was smaller than what we are used to--but we're usually in a two bedroom unit, which are bigger.

The resort is huge and in order to go most of the places from the units, you'll need to drive or bike--unless you get a unit next to where the action is. But it wasn't bad. The resort is nestled in a golf course so there are several bodies of water around. Some of them are pretty big. But the water means that there is a lot of waterfowl roaming around. Fun to look at--we even saw a swan in one of the lakes. There is fishing in the lakes and you can get a license at a few different places.

The activities center was top notch. It was a beautiful building and there was something going on everyday for my daughter to look forward to. She was able to do fun things like tie-dye t-shirts, decorate bird houses, decorate keepsake boxes, etc. Best of all, it was all free. Everything was provided--there was no charge for anything. We attended two ice cream socials, a root beer float social, a cheese, cracker, and fruit owners social, and played "Boogie Bingo". All around the activities building there are things to do such as ping-pong, tennis, an 18-hole miniature golf course, big chess board, big Jenga, Chinese horseshoes, basketball, etc. There were also board games in the activities building.

There was also a recreation building that housed the workout facilities, swimming pool, etc. The hot tub was quite hot and the jets were strong. There was also a small wading pool for the kiddies.

The town of Pagosa wasn't very far away. There were plenty of little restaurants, shops, and hikes to keep us busy for the 5 days that we were there.

All in all, great place.

Room Tip: Try to get an upstairs room; if you don't mind going up the stairs

Love this resort, did not disappoint. I have come to this resort many times over the years and I have never been let down. Not only do they continually offer great rooms and service, the town of Pagosa Springs remains a top notch vacation destination any time of the year.
