Got a room for New year's eve, i booked the room First week of December.
Well when I got there on Sunday at 4pm which is their check in time, I was told that the room wasn't ready! I was told I had to wait an hour but ended up waiting longer! Due to this delay me and my family plans did not go as we plan, my kid's ended up missing out on the ice castle show at Dillon. What is crazy is that a friend booked a room the night before New year's eve and their room was ready with no delays.
Next day when I try to check out there was also a delay. They do charge a $30 resort fee. Parking and breakfast is free though. Friendly and Helpful staff.
However I will not considered staying there again due to all the delays.

Staff were very helpful with directions and recommendations. We had a hard time reaching the front desk when trying to call down from our room and we were charged a $26 "resort fee" even though we didn't use any of the amenities covered by the fee. Other than that however, our stay was excellent. Clean room and comfortable bed, and awesome to have a choice between 3 different hot tubs with mountain views!

Great to see Hyatt Place at Keystone. Its barely a week since opening as Hyatt and there is some more work to do, But hey are working hard to make it a Hyatt. Kudos to them.
Few things to the management : Add more employees (during busy weekends/holidays) and more food options for breakfast. Breakfast is still not at Hyatt standards yet. Add more signage outside about parking. As valet parking is 'free' (included with $25 resort fee) I dint try too hard to find a parking spot, but when I looked around for self parking, all spots are marked for some other buildings. Put a big Hyatt place signage on top of the hotel, so that guests can catch it from Highway 6. Try to see whether free shuttle can pick guests from the hotel itself, instead of walking to and waiting on Hwy 6 for the shuttle. All in all, happy with location, hotel, staff and amenities.
For the guests : $25 resort fee is mandatory but you get a lot if you ask for it specifically. As of now, it includes many things, but most importantly, free valet parking, free lift/gondola passes for your party on the day of arrival (after 4 pm), kids ski free for the duration of your stay. We were not offered vouchers for these benefits until we asked for it. So, make sure you understand whats included and ask for what is needed.

We had a one night stay Dec 24th 2017. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. As the hotel just opened in Dec 2017 they had a few minor issues with check in etc. Great location. Would recommend this hotel.
