“Lovely place for coffee”
Review of The Frothy Cup

The Frothy Cup
Certificate of Excellence
Price range: US$2 - US$10
Description: The Frothy Cup is an independent coffee roaster of premium, estate grown specialty coffee. We offer single origin and blended Fair Trade Organic and Rainforest Alliance coffee as well as home made fresh baked bakery goods, breakfast burritos and healthy smoothies. Located in the historic Zeller building built in 1885, the location at 1510 Miner Street in downtown Idaho Springs has been a coffee roasting business for over 25 years. In December 2014 Glenda and Randy Watson purchased the business and renamed it The Frothy Cup. We offer our guests a warm and comfortable, home-like environment where anyone can enjoy what we believe is the best coffee and espresso they have ever had, as well as baked goods and smoothies made with mostly organic and non-GMO ingredients.

I always stop here when passing through. Great coffee add homemade pastries. The decorations is exactly what a local coffee shop should be. Not modern and sterile. I highly recommend stopping here.

Stopped here for mid morning coffee on way to Denver. Really good coffee and other drinks-and outstanding large cookie-made with ? molasses and coconut. The place was full of quirky china and gifts-loved it

My wife and I stopped by this wonderful coffee shop on the way to Mt Evans and everything we had was delicious. We snagged a "cowboy cookie" I believe it was called and it made for the perfect hiking treat.

Yummy coffee selections. Wait staff helpful and
friendly. Pick up some bags of coffee for hostess gifts.
