We just spent a delightful night at Leroux Creek Inn and Vineyard with hosts Yvon and Joanna. The Inn is a beautiful and peaceful place with tremendous views of the North Fork Valley. We enjoyed three of their fine wines, Chambourcin, Cayuga, and Rosé and Yvon's pâté, terrine and tapenade. I recommend it highly for anyone traveling to Western Colorado.

We spent two very relaxing days in an elegant environment with a remarkable down to earth ambiance. The room, wine, service, were all great! Breakfast is what you will remember presented buffet style at a pace that invites socializing,Breakfast is the best time for learning about wine, the art of making wine, cooking, the north fork valley, and local dining(P.J's our favorite). Coffee early. granola, yogurt and peaches, muffins, cheeses, prosciutto, toast and jams. Eggs with fresh herbs and a special surprise today, golden brown sauteed chanterelles(gathered by Yvon last night). The setting is stunning but it takes wonderful people to make a warm inviting experience. Thank you Joanna and Yvon. We ignored attractive area activities to soak up some down time with the grapes! Good choice! Carefree afternoon. enjoyed a nice hiking trail along Leroux Creek around the vineyard.in the morning. We left the western slope headed for home with a smile! Great animals!

Every year we drive over from Aspen to enjoy the West Elk Wine Trail. This year we stayed with Yvon and Joanna at their Le Roux Creek winery and B&B. Yvon and Joanna are perfect hosts making sure that you are both well attended to.
Friday night they hosted a gourmet meal with paired wines from theirs and local vineyard with each course.
We stayed in their Inn for two nights. Beautiful well appointed room with views of the vineyard and mountain skyline. Yvon prepared a delicious breakfast with local farm to table produce as well as delicious eggs.

We spent a great night at the Leroux Creek Inn last week. Yvon and Joanna are wonderful hosts. Our room was spacious, clean and nicely appointed. The hot tub is beautifully situated for vineyard views by day and breathtaking starry skies at night.

A beautiful B&B off the beaten path in Western Colorado wine country. We will be back!

To recover from jetlag after our flight from Germany, we could hardly have made a better choice than to spend two nights here. The two Corgis awaited us in the driveway – well actually, they just laid there and didn’t take note of us at all, which was appeasing after the Tripadvisor report we had read about the mean, growling dogs. (A picture is attached of one of them. You can see for yourself how ferocious he is ;) )
Joanna heard us drive in and peeked around the corner with a big smile on her face and potting tools in her hand. She had been working on countless flower baskets, which she is famous for in the region and are her pride and joy in summer, when they are in full bloom. She showed us the house and premises and truly made us feel right at home. Our immediate impression was amiable and easy.
We had the Mesa Room, with high-class ranch style furniture and a beautiful view overlooking the vineyards, with snowcapped mountains in the background. The room was comfortable, we slept very well. Joanna has her own line of fine Vine Therapy skin and bath products, some of which are in the bathroom for guests’ use. They are made with all natural ingredients and smell heavenly. At night, as well as during the day, it was completely quiet, except maybe for an occasional turkey gobble, a goose honk, a horse neighing … or, yes, the dogs can bark, but do so very rarely.
Whatever you feel like doing, you will feel right at home. You can wander through the vineyards; take a short adventure hike down to the river; relax on the veranda or in the whirlpool; or, if you have some energy you need to use up, you can even help Joanna or Yvon with some of their endless outdoor chores. The grounds are huge!
It was most enjoyable talking with Joanna and Yvon. Naturally, wine is an interesting topic and Yvon’s wines are fascinating (good!). The Chambourcin and Cayuga grapes, which he grows, were new to us and very tasty. Yvon looks forward to nearly any excuse to share a glass or two with his guests.
Breakfast was a highlight, when Yvon surprised us with his version of “Eggs Adobe”. While looking over his shoulder, I learned how to make perfect poached eggs, as well as how to prepare them in advance for many people and other cooking tips. This is just one more example of how easy it was to live in Leroux Creek and to be around the innkeepers. It felt like being with longtime friends.
